The house is now pristine and ready for us to enjoy! Zulia's commitment to finishing the task is a testament to her work ethic, professionalism, and dedication to her clients. Her pricing was very reasonable, and we look forward to having her back soon for regular cleanings.

I am still somewhat in shock of how poorly Zulia "cleaned" my home. Despite being hired for a move…read moreout deep clean, in which she shared in writing the tasks she'd do, one of two toilets was left uncleaned, light fixtures were untouched, she didn't mop half of the home, the paint on the exterior of the refrigerator was scratched beyond repair, and much more. Zulia also increased the cost of the clean halfway through to $800 (despite sharing in writing a significantly lower estimate beforehand)- for a 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath home. I communicated my disappointment with the state of the house upon completion, even sending photos of missed areas, and she maintained that she "did the best she could" and took zero accountability. I'd estimate she cleaned roughly half of what was promised.

We have wool carpeting downstairs and standard carpeting upstairs. The wool carpet was looking a little tired, but the standard carpet, a very light beige color, was bad (stained in many places and grayish from years of family traffic). I'd actually figured it was beyond hope and that we'd need to replace it. But I am not exaggerating when I say that after Carpenter's worked their magic, they looked like new rugs. Night and day. And not only do they do an impeccable job, they are professional, courteous, and very responsive to their customers' needs and level of satisfaction. Proof that small, locally owned businesses like Carpenter's are worth our attention and our business!

High points: 1) The shampoo he used had very little smell…read moreand I am rather sensitive to odors. He also has a thyme additive that can help kill bacteria. (I chose to add this for an added $30 fee.) 2) Professional and friendly. Wesley took time to talk and we got to know each other a bit, all while doing his prep work for cleaning. Having him in my house wasn't uncomfortable at all (it sometimes can be with strangers). I had Wesley come to my house and clean 5 rooms. The carpet, a white Berber, about 10 years old and having suffered through four kids, had never been cleaned. It was actually turning a gross grey. There were severe spots of soda abuse in my teen's room, and possibly clay from kids craft. I knew it wouldn't look new, but I needed better, and that's what Wesley gave me! The less traveled carpets looked REALLY nice and the carpet wearing the heavy traffic was better. The living room was so soiled that it had some funky stripes going on after the initial cleaning. I talked to Wesley about it and he explained that there had been a lot of soil in that one area (indeed there had been). He offered to do it again, charging only the price of gas. That was very nice of him and I appreciated the gesture. I paid him more than the price of the gas because it's not his fault we had never cleaned the carpets before. The second cleaning did the job and the living room looks SO much better!
