My daughter is fifth grade now. And when she talks about Ms Karen, she still feels so hurt. She told me, one time Ms Karen made her stand in the corner of the classroom. She got humiliated and cried. Then Ms Karen pointed her asked the whole class, does she look like a good person? The whole class said NO! And I remember my daughter's hand got a deep scratch one day back from kindergarten, no teacher noticed of that. Then I went to Ms Karen, then she told me my daughter hit the other girl first, then the other girl scratched her. I was fooled by her, and thought it was my daughter's fault. But she didn't mention that the other girl grouped with other girls were teasing my daughter and calling my daughter "mean girl"!!! Can you imagine a 5 year old little girl be labeled with "bad person" " mean girl", be excluded by all other kids, be timed out all the time, be yelled at , be teased, be hated..... But my girl is a good girl. I attach my daughter's fifth grade teacher's comments here to prove that. Ms Karen basically is a bully. She did whatever she wanted to my daughter just because my daughter couldn't express herself clearly at that time! My daughter said she did the same thing to other kids, but my daughter is the major target. I hate myself, I believed the bully instead of my own daughter. The big trauma for my daughter since her 5 years old, and the big trauma for me since one year ago when I knew the truth, will never get away. We will never forget! We will never forgive!!!

I was recommended to this school by a friend. He said his daughter is top of her class. My daughter was 3.5 when she entered the school and it's been a year. The school staff is very patient, caring and very supportive of the children. They are very passionate about helping the teaching the kids. My daughter was potty trained in less than 2 months and this was relief for me. She learned her ABCs, shapes, colors, and etc. My daughter loves the school, teachers, and her friends. This is a great place for any children and I highly recommend!!

I love this school!! My two kids have been attending Lilys Garden since June 2014. The quality of the academics at Lilys Garden is well-known throughout the area. My kids' aptitude and confidence in reading, writing, vocabulary, math, and science is now far ahead of the average. More importantly, they have been infused with a love of learning. They wake up each day eager to go learn more. This is an attitude that will stay with them far after they graduate. But the real reason I love and recommend this school is the staff. Every one of the teachers conveys a true love of learning and love of children. I can speak especially highly of my kids' classrooms -- Ms. Aileen, Ms, Debbie, Ms. Yolanda, and Ms. Mae. They successfully walk the fine line between discipline/structure and individual care/personal instruction. In addition, the school's principal Christina (who is also the owner) makes it a priority to learn every child's name and is available everyday to chat with parents. You would be very pleased to send your kids to this school.

This is the work my six year old is doing at Lily's garden. I really believe the school help my son discover his potential.

We're able to go to work with the peace of mind that they are taken care of. My husband and I toured a good amount of schools before deciding to have them go here since we know that we would like to keep them at the same school until they go to kindergarten. Teachers and administration really care about the well being of all the students. My 4 year old that started when he was 2.5 and my 1.5 year old have grown so much since being there. They have their daily routines and activities keeping them busy and helping them learn (something that would be really hard to do at home). During summer they even have summer activities like foam parties, swim day and a day where they bring wild life to the school for the kids to see. It seems like it was recently renovated so it's pretty modern and clean. All the rooms have windows so they get a good amount of natural light and they are so spacious! Parents are able to stop by anytime to check on our little ones as long as it doesn't interfere with their naps. We could always message through the app Lillio if we have any questions or concerns. Teachers keep us posted through out the day with pictures what they ate and their nap times. For the younger ones we even get their diaper updates. Highly recommend taking a tour so you could see how it would be a good fit for your family.

We are so sad to be moving away from the area, and we hope to be lucky enough find a camp and aftercare that is just as wonderful. I cannot say enough about the the staff as well as the other families who attend- it feels like a little family. My two children love going and easily scamper off at drop-off and don't want to leave when it's pickup. The staff is loving, patient, kind, and have great communication, and the activities are engaging and fun. The hours of the camp are dream come true for working parents (7:30- 6 pm), and even when I get off a little early, my kids beg to stay til close to closing. The field trips are also great. The freshly prepared food is also kid-friendly but nutritious, and my kids enjoyed the breakfast, lunch, and snacks included with the camp, and it made it easier getting out of the door in the morning. Our child began with major separation anxiety, but thanks to the teachers who stuck by her side, she began dancing and having fun in as little as four days and the crying at drop-off stopped after 2 weeks, at which point she began to run inside to be with her teachers and friends. The facility is very clean, safe, and built with growing kids in mind. They have a really good curriculum and great activities in each classroom. In the toddler class (ages 18-36mo & where our child was) they have a 6-to-1 child/teacher ratio. If I had to complain about one thing, it's that I wish we could get more photos/videos and updates throughout the day, but since I also don't want the teachers on cell-phones all day long, it's an okay trade off knowing that our kid will come home happy everyday and sometimes with cool art projects in hand! The staff also does a great job notifying us of any incidents (booboos, bites, runny noses) that need our immediate attention or knowledge. They have a good, effective covid policy in place too and if I'm not mistaken only one child tested positive for covid since the pandemic began, but the child stayed home and quarantined. The entire school/staff was then dismissed to get tested and the results were all negative. To protect everyone, they check everyone's temps upon arrival and they won't hesitate to send children home for high temps or any covid-like symptoms. I would highly recommend anyone to come here, especially if it's their child's first school. They do a wonderful job.

When I went…read moreto check out the school with my very shy daughter, on the very first moment, Ms. Janice was able to overcome her shyness and got her to start immediately playing with the children in the playground, and then fall in line to use the restroom and attend class. It's a Christian school, and you can feel it in the air. It feels warm, kind, loving, the kids are happy, laughing, having fun, engaged, interacting with each other and the teacher. Everything about this school is amazing, staff, spirit, layout, decoration, loadout. The director is very considerate, the playground is well shaded, to prevent kids from burning themselves in the sun, the ground is a form of rubber mulch, I think. There's plenty of little kitchen houses, a slide, and a couple of titter-totters. The dense playground also allows a single staff member to effectively watch ALL the kids, and I saw it happen, Ms. Nancy called out 3 kids, within moments of each other, the layout, combined with Ms. Nancy's eagle eyes was definitely impressive. Ms. Anna, saw that my daughter was having trouble communicating, and switched between 3 different languages to engage her. The class room is loaded with toys, and while they teach, they aren't harsh on the kids, each teacher I saw, had a very gentle touch, and the kids effectively can choose what they do, and how they learn. They also had cots for the kids, so kids can nap with a pillow and blankets lying down, instead of sitting up on a study list, or on a table. The pillows, blankets, and bedsheets are returned to parents Friday, so they may wash it over the weekend and bring it in Monday. Also, of all the schools, this school was the most proactive and concerned about health, to this day, the children are still required to wear masks. The minute they walk into the building, their temperature is checked, and their shoes are sanitized, then, the children have to wash their hands. They plan make masks optional in July, but, for them to have had those policies for this long is a good thing. Personally, given how often and quickly viruses spread in school, I'm not opposed to this policy being permanent, but, to a certain degree, I understand. This school is perfectly aligned with my focus of child-rearing for my child at her age, which is a combination of fun, socialization, curiosity, basic education, health, safety. I couldn't ask for anything more. My child goes into school happy, comes home happy, and that makes me VERY happy. I toured this school first, and this school has set a bar that no other school can meet. Every other school had soulless, sad, dejected kids, studying for college at the age of 5, but this school, laughs, smiles, little monkeys running around, doing their thing, not a care in the world, screaming along as teachers ask them to recite their ABCs. I'm a single dad, I don't really know much about girl stuff, I do the best I can binding my daughter's hair so it's not in her face, and I send it off. Ms Janice would re-do her hair, with all sorts of accessories I didn't even provide, and she'd come home like a princess. She went in depressed because my ex thought it was a great idea to butcher her hair with a bad haircut during a visit, and Ms. Janice's re-styling of her hair erased the pain my ex caused her. Also, my daughter keeps showing up with snacks and toys on a weekly basis. Like... WOW? I wished I had that growing up, I don't think any other school would do this, and I cannot imagine this place turning a profit. Also, other parents tell me that this school's meals has spoiled their children for public school. They whine about how the new school's food isn't as good. At this point, you're like... "For real?", yeah, for real. One of the best decisions I've ever made. This school was a blessing, and I hope it stays around for a long time, so more people may benefit from it.

Instead of directing all of their attention to me, both the director and the teachers got down to my daughter's eye level, introduced themselves to her, and told her how happy they were that she was visiting. It was such a simple gesture, but no other school had done that. It immediately showed me how much they value and respect children. What made it even more meaningful is that months later, when we came back for the open house, they remembered her. That personal connection meant so much to me. Although the preschool is located on church grounds, we've found the environment to be welcoming and inclusive. Faith is present in an age-appropriate way, but we've never felt like religion was being pushed or that it overshadowed the school's focus on nurturing, learning and supporting my children. My two kids have completely different personalities, and what has impressed me most is how their teachers have always met each of them exactly where they were. They don't expect every child to fit the same mold - they take the time to understand each child as an individual and because of that both of my kids have thrived in their own unique ways. The small class sizes create a warm, close-knit environment, and the play-based curriculum encourages curiosity, confidence, creativity, and a genuine love of learning. The campus is also beautiful, with lush outdoor spaces that make it a special place for children to explore and grow. The teachers are thoughtful and responsive via the brightwheel app sending consistent communication regarding allergies or any incidents as well as picture updates. The director is also very approachable, involved and genuinely invested in both the children and their families. One of the biggest compliments i can give this school is that i truly feel at ease leaving my children in their care. As a parent, that doesn't come easily to me, but I've always known they were safe, loved, and in the hands of people who genuinely care about their well-being. She was always happy, clean, and well cared for when I picked her up, which was such a relief for first-time parents. Being able to leave your child knowing she is safe, loved, and well cared for is priceless. One of the things we appreciated most was that she learned so many new words, especially in Mandarin, which was exactly what we had hoped for. The teachers made learning fun and meaningful. I just had lots of laundry weekly The whole school was super clean, it's a home daycare/preschool.
