He explains everything in a way that feels simple, practical, and easy to apply, even for beginners. The training is both engaging and empowering, and I've noticed I feel stronger, more energized, and more confident over time. I've also learned real, effective self-defense skills. One of the biggest benefits for me has been stress relief. After each class, I feel clearer, lighter, and more grounded--it's such a great way to reset both physically and mentally. I also really appreciate that they offer classes for kids. It's a supportive environment where children can build confidence, discipline, focus, and practical skills. I highly recommend this school for anyone looking to improve their fitness, learn self-defense, and de-stress in a positive, welcoming community. I'm truly grateful to be part of it.

Seh also wrote me a personal Happy Birthday card and had it hand decorated by one of her daughters and she hung a big birthday balloon banner in the studio for me. She treats me better than my own family! Taichi has a diagnostic phase; different than yoga. During the warmup phase the movement drills she teaches you allows you to diagnose where in the body you have less strength and flexibility. You can also detect loss of symmetry in balance. Very different than other forms of exercise. She also teaches you how to work on specific problem areas related to today's lifestyle like upper shoulders and lower back. These progressions are very different than traditional western based cardio and weight lifting exercise. Can develop a monitoring of your own body ad correlate it with the amount you sleep to tune your health levels. I can't get that by doing more miles on the treadmill. Very unique and talented individual. One in a million. She has world class talent; taught live in Chinese TV to millions of people and was practicing since 4. If you grew up in China you have seen he on TV. Incredible person. Polar opposite of the male powerful western martial arts instructor. Can't believe someone like this exists, very rare. Excellent teacher. Never met someone with this much range; able to customize to different groups so effortlessly. Her bio shows 20+ years of teaching experience and it shows in the sessions. She gave us 2 separate demos. Looks like what you see in the martial arts movies. When she throws a punch, the transition from standstill to fast motion punch is breathtaking. Can't replicate that on movies. They add sound effects which isn't the same as experiencing it in real life. The physical displacement and pace of the movement is not something most people can replicate, looks different when she does it. Definitely a special person. Worth the in person visit. From the awards she has won she is as famous in taichi as is Steph Curry in basketball. Very interesting. Not just the physical talent which makes a champion. Also maturity, mental toughness, and being a better person are all tools which are needed to be the best in the world. Many similarities to what Steph is like today. She is a world champion in what teaches and has won many competitions https://baike.baidu.com/item/%E5%90%B4%E9%98%BF%E6%95%8F/4753116 Incredible!!!

Teams from various places, with an estimated four thousand people including parents, gathered. The kids' teams won both gold and bronze medals, but the most significant gains were the earnest process and the growth experiences gained through participation. "It takes a village to raise a kid." Grateful to have such a group and environment in a foreign land, allowing the children and parents to grow together. This was our first summer training camp, and honestly, shuttling the kids every day amidst a busy schedule and managing various tasks was sometimes quite overwhelming. However, each time I saw the masters and classmates so spirited and dedicated, witnessed the two kids flourishing and advancing in a short period, and understood the meaning of participating seriously in a competition, it became clear that effort leads to success. This was a rare learning experience for the children. Many thanks to the masters who, year after year, tirelessly committed to the daily training from morning to night. It requires immense passion, patience, and self-discipline to teach, organize, be strict yet compassionate, handle administrative tasks, and even cut watermelons and distribute popsicles . They also participated in competitions and served as main referees, making a sincere effort to set an example and promote the spirit of martial arts. Sometimes I feel sorry for the two masters, juggling multiple roles day and night is truly tough, but congratulations on returning with a well-deserved sense of accomplishment . Thanks to all the parents for supporting the children's learning. Although not participating in the competition, the equal decade-long commitment from the sidelines is appreciated. Looking forward to experiencing and growing together with the children in the upcoming journey of life.

It really is a hidden gem. The best thing about the school is the coaching. This school is family run, and each coach is highly qualified. Master David and Master Grace were both university professors in China and are big names in the kung fu community. You'll be hard pressed to find other coaches with a deeper understanding of the art. But most importantly, all of the coaches are all around good people. They're great with both kids and adults, and they actually care about their students' well-being. They put student's needs over their business needs and really do tailor their coaching style to the individual needs of each student. They make sure students develop not only kung fu skills but also good character. I used to be a really shy, low self-esteem kid. Under their guidance, I learned to become more confident and how to actively face new challenges. They know how to find the perfect balance of encouragement and pushing me out of my comfort zone. With each new belt level, each new skill, I learned the value of discipline and hard work. These lessons have served me well in my adult life and I honestly have Pure Shaolin Kung Fu to thank for that. The community here is also great. Everyone is very welcoming and supportive. The classes are fun while also being a great workout, and the coaches tailor classes to your athletic level and needs. I really cannot recommend this school enough.
