From the moment I walked in, I was unwelcome and scrutinized, receiving curt, condescending responses and slow service. I noticed a clear disparity in how I was treated compared to other customers, signaling bias rather than poor service. This isn't something I typically do, but I'm compelled to warn others: if you value dignity and safety, consider elsewhere. The owner was an extremely nice woman who makes a lot of the shell art in the shop. Her work is simply amazing! I'm sad that I was trying to be polite by not photographing all the gorgeous artwork. While she was ringing up my purchases, she said she encourages "copying" and people photographing everything in the shop. I…read moremust be the first to post about this gift shop by the Over Easy Cafe ... after a very good brunch on NYE with our four paw companion in their protected outdoor patio area, we wandered over to Island Paws for our free gift and stopped by Amy's .. we were drawn there by the very unique shadowbox tables filled with sand and shells collected on the beaches. I did not buy one and find that eBay, Etsy and Amazon have nothing that compares in quality or price. I may have to order one shipped to me in Chicago! The Olde Sanibel Shoppes are a must visit!
