My mom and I finally got the handbags that we wanted. Well, I wanted the "Le pliage" in a lavender color. But, the sales staff that helped us said that the lavender color isn't in season right now. So, I settled for the large Le pliage bag in beige for 74 Euros. I love my bag because I can put a lot things inside! I wished there were pockets in the bag though. My mom got the Le pliage hobo bag in graphite for 100 Euros. Overall, good experience at this Longchamp store since we got the handbags that we were looking for. The sales staff that helped us was very friendly and helpful. NOTE: You can pay for your purchase both with Euros and a credit card in one transaction. If you are a tourist, you can claim the tax free refund by filling out the paperwork and showing the sales staff your passport. Then, you would have to get your refund at the airport.

I wanted a Le Pliage bag for all the spending I planned on doing for Duty Free and souvenirs. I was prepared for a closed shop or rude service, but instead was greeted b by a lovely and warm gentleman who helped me for over 30 minutes just to pick the right color and try to help me get something on sale. In the end I went with a newer color, but saved over $50 compared to buying the bag in the States even at full price. Also, they didn't have this at the Duty Free by my gate so I'm happy I came here. Bring your passport for the Duty Free discount otherwise you can put in the number at the airport. I didn't have time to do this at the airport but still saved significant amount and was so happy with this gentleman's help.

I was a bit intimidated to walk in but I had to grab a nice birthday/Christmas/2013 present for my mama! As I walked in I never felt pushed or intimidated to buy. I had one lady asked if I needed help and I passed (since I was only browsing) but one Damier bag caught my eye. Another young gal came up to me and helped me out with about 3 bags. She was young, she was cool and very helpful. The Speedy Damier bag I purchased wasn't cheap but was cheaper than the US. It was also my mom's specs! The best part about buying someone else an LV bag is walking out with a big LV-logo bag with 4-5 different German girls looking at my bag! LOL!

As we were flying out of Frankfurt, I called the Frankfurt location and they had 1 left. I knew it may not still be there by the time we arrived later in the day. But I also had a Speedy 30 on the list and so hopped on the ICE and hoped for the best. The SA I spoke on the phone was super sweet but the security (ugh) was another story. He was aggressively rude and condescending. A few minutes later his other buddy was rude to another group. Maybe there are people who come to browse (they are still potential customers) and there are people like myself who only go in to buy. Sorry to the SA who was getting the sale but my $$$ went to another brand. Security @ Frankfurt LV April 1st 4:35pm NEEDS a refresher course on customer service. Dude, you're guarding a door to a freaking store. Do better. Hawaii still has the best service!!!
