A little off the beaten path, but somehow easy to find with signs on the streets pointing you towards this little shop from the station. Use Google Maps if you really need help.
The owner speaks English and is very helpful and honest on how something is supposed to look. I was super lucky to find a dirndl here right before Oktoberfest in a color I wanted (purple) in my size (literally FIT PERFECTLY!!!!) AND WAS ON SALE! I was so lucky!! It was about 90 Euro! Super affordable! I also got a hat and matching necklace. Everything is quite authentic and there are many options for all sizes.
The owner helped teach me how to tie the dirndl (to the right means single and the left means married). Good to know! Since i"m also not too well-endowed, he taught me how to tie the top for most flattering effect. It was pretty much all business and I appreciated how quick up-front it all was.
They take card (I didn't have chip and pin), and I was really happy with my entire purchase. Anyone in Frankfurt wanting authentic outfits to wear to Oktoberfest, come here! read more
