Anders Selmer, Rene Redzepi, and Claus Meyer in conjunction with fruit farmer Hans Lund have planted multiple varietals of grapes on the island of Lilleø to produce wines of Sylvaner, Solaris, Sauvingon Blanc, Riesling, and a few others. With help from German winemaker Martin Steinmann, they've produced a few vintages from this small area of Vigmosegaard . I got to try the Arwen (named after Redzepi's daughter) at Selmer's Kødbyens Fiskebar. A very light white wine, with good fruit and acid. A great pairing with the salty seafood fare of the Fiskebar. Now you don't see much Danish wine in general as most say the prices are high and the quality is not great. So you tend to see a lot of natural or classic French wines at most restaurants.
