The bar/pub section is small. really tiny, but on a weekday night it is pretty decent here. I have not eaten here.
To be honest I was a bit hesitant, but decided to give it a fair chance, I have always avoided this pub, as many places along the Avenue, but I was pleasantly surprised!
The customers in the pub this weekday night were men in their 60s so if you prefer an older clientele before the 20-somethings maybe this could be the place (if you are in the neighborhood, meaning I would go across town for it). It was an easy calm atmosphere and afterwork buffet is served for free until 19.00 when you buy a drink. Maybe the bartender could have been a little more welcoming and say hello.
On weekends late at night it is crowded, and the customers are younger.
The interior is old and worn, just the way a decent pub should be. The selection of beer is actually pretty decent, even if they don't have my favorites there is types for everyone - ale, pale ale, IPA, stout, lager and cheap lager known as "stor stark".
Believe it or not - They accept AMEX! read more
