The drinks were great as well, We so wish that the U.S. would adopt the serving style where the alcohol is in the glass and they bring the soda in a bottle to be added at the table. In the U.S., it usually comes from a soda gun that might, or might not be clean, and is always flat. My burger was cooked medium, with a bit of pink, just the way I like it. The fries were soft in the middle with a slight crunch to them, with flaky salt. My wife's salad had a bit too much dressing for her tastes but I thought it was good. We have started sharing meals this way, as our appetites are smaller now that we are getting a bit older.

It's a Burger twist to a typical German establishment with very good selection. Atmosphere: it's cozy and easy going. Part of that, was also because i came on a Sunday. There's a couple tables outside but the interior looks quite traditional Munich. A lot of wood, tiles like the inside of an Alm, and an updated, stainless steel burger kitchen Food: Super satisfying burger. I ordered the truffle burger with a side of regular fries, medium rare and your standard paulaner half liter. The food came within ten minutes and all hot and cooked well. I really enjoyed the truffle burger for the right reasons. It wasn't overpowered with artificial truffle oil like they do in the US. Instead, there was actual truffle on the burger. And the flavor carried through every bite. My fries were the standard (so not house cut) but they were as crispy as needed. Side note - make sure to only dunk them in mayo here (like you should in Germany); the ketchup is way too tomato soup tasting. The service is friendly and it's chill and quiet.
