Great place and convenient for us due to our stay just around the corner. We have been in Europe…read morefor about 2 weeks, and sometimes a good burger is needed! We have looked forward to all the dishes that aren't readily available at home, but sometimes good ole comfort food is what we need. This fit the bill. My wife had a salads and I opted for the cheese burger with added bacon, and a side of fries. The drinks were great as well, We so wish that the U.S. would adopt the serving style where the alcohol is in the glass and they bring the soda in a bottle to be added at the table. In the U.S., it usually comes from a soda gun that might, or might not be clean, and is always flat. My burger was cooked medium, with a bit of pink, just the way I like it. The fries were soft in the middle with a slight crunch to them, with flaky salt. My wife's salad had a bit too much dressing for her tastes but I thought it was good. We have started sharing meals this way, as our appetites are smaller now that we are getting a bit older.

While there is no direct correlation to Hamburg, Germany, the word hamburger does originate here…read more And while Munich is on the clear other side of the country, The Beef Crew here know their hamburger. For my first time here I tried their "Cheese Explosion Burger". This monster lives up to its name! I forget how many cheeses this thing has because quite frankly I never heard of some of them before. But rather than ketchup, mayo, or some special dressing...this burger comes with nacho cheese as its condiment. Again the name: Cheese Explosion. As you can see from my photo it is also garnished with two kinds of fried cheese skewered to the top bun. Cheese Explosion. At the risk of stating the obvious: this is a burger for folks who love cheese. Also, if you don't like pink in your burger...make sure to tell them. They serve all their burgers medium.

When seeking out some american food in Munich, this may be sufficient. I would compare it to Five…read moreGuys. The burger isn't that big, but not too small. I think it was approx 5 oz. One side was dark grilled & crispy, in a good way but also just emphasized how greasy it was. There was a pool of grease after eating it, that dripped off of it. Definitely not a lean combo of ground beef. But it did have good flavor. Their burger sauce is essentially the equivalent of american thousand island dressing. So if you don't want/like that on there, have them hold it or get it on the side! Which I thankfully did. The sweet potato fries were awesome! Nice flavor and crispy. We kept getting a hint of truffle, which I think is good. If you like your burger cooked rare, be sure to ask for it and emphasize it. Nothing spectacular but works in a pinch when you're tired of all of the pork and potato dishes! I dont think I would go back vs seeking out another burger spot when in Munich.

English then German review to follow:…read more Burger house did a allround good job at satisfying a good Sunday afternoon burger craving. It's a Burger twist to a typical German establishment with very good selection. Atmosphere: it's cozy and easy going. Part of that, was also because i came on a Sunday. There's a couple tables outside but the interior looks quite traditional Munich. A lot of wood, tiles like the inside of an Alm, and an updated, stainless steel burger kitchen Food: Super satisfying burger. I ordered the truffle burger with a side of regular fries, medium rare and your standard paulaner half liter. The food came within ten minutes and all hot and cooked well. I really enjoyed the truffle burger for the right reasons. It wasn't overpowered with artificial truffle oil like they do in the US. Instead, there was actual truffle on the burger. And the flavor carried through every bite. My fries were the standard (so not house cut) but they were as crispy as needed. Side note - make sure to only dunk them in mayo here (like you should in Germany); the ketchup is way too tomato soup tasting. The service is friendly and it's chill and quiet. Side notes - there's a €5 classic burger takeout special and a buy 10 get one free lunch special for students to take advantage off. Also try out the tripplestack where you'll get three burger stacked on top of one another. Halt was positives. Also ich komm hier gern wieder.
