During move-out, things got even worse. The way my deposit, notices, and charges were handled felt shady, suspicious, and absolutely not aligned with what Florida law actually requires. Based on my documentation, several actions appeared to violate the timelines, disclosure requirements, and standards laid out in Florida Statute 83. Whether it was incompetence or something more serious, it felt borderline illegal from my perspective. In my opinion, this company operates with total disregard for the law, zero accountability, and an attitude toward tenants that is negligent at best and dangerously unprofessional at worst. If you rent from them, protect yourself: document everything, take photos of everything, and never assume they're following the rules. If you have any other option -- take it.
