Sent boat in for winter storage in spring called spoke to Nick service manager went over launch items in detail and scheduled to pick up the boat in early April. Well early april turned into mid May after loosing my paperwork the boat was completely filthy bimini top for some reason was removed and tech told me could not figure out how to put it back together. Ok i took it cleaned and waxed my wife put bimini on. ( I paid for wax and cleaning ) Shortly after taking boat we noticed it was running hot took it back for service the NIGHTMARE continued. First guy trying to repair boat went on vacation in JULY? Second guy trying to fix boat was bitten by a spider? Finally after three weeks they said it was fixed but Nick said it would not rev or plane? Worked when I brought it in just saying? They had boat an additional 3 weeks could not figure out what was wrong. We lost the season waiting for a repair. Finally I took boat not repaired out of that HELL hole after 6 weeks not fixed. Took boat to Werelen Brothers Marina in Brick they diagnosed the issue and fixed the boat in three days? This place is not only an unorganized disaster with no one there able to work on boats but also the service manager NICK is the best BS artist in south Jersey. You are Warned RUN RUIN RUN!!!

I have been with them since, paying about $2 to $3 thousand per year on services. After the winter service in late 2021, I was informed that they accidentally damaged my boat with the fork lift, punching a hole in one of the pontoons. I didn't make a fuss and just asked them to repair/replace the damaged part. They finally informed me that they completed the replacement in early spring (beginning of April). What they neglected to tell me was that they removed the shrink-wrap protecting the boat and thereby exposing my pontoon boat to the elements, for at least 1-2 weeks. With freezing rain still coming down in early April, the removal of the shrink wrap was damaging to the seating surfaces on the pontoon. I wasn't happy about it, but again, I made little fuss. But when I took the boat back to my dock, I noticed there was a small scratch on my boat. I tried to contact Baywood multiple times, with pictures of the damage and got absolutely no response, and this despite me being their customer for the last 3 years. Of course, I will not be servicing my boat with Baywood anymore.

I'm not sure how to reflect on their comment since there was no punctuation and frankly it didn't make much sense to me. Here's my opinion... I've been a customer for 6 years now. The folks at Cassidy's are super chill and easy to work with. Unlike other Marina's, they are totally fine if you like to do your own work. If you don't like to do it, they're fine with you bringing in your own "guy" (so long as they carry the needed insurance) or you can use their "guy". Slip fees are reasonable, storage fees are reasonable, they launch you and haul you out when you need. One year I couldn't get down at all at the end of the season, they hauled it, washed it, winterized it, shrunk wrapped it and stored it for me. Not free of course, but very reasonable and they simply just took care of it for me. is it the prettiest Marina? Perhaps not. They don't have a restaurant or a pool, but in my opinion, it's an awesome value and the family that runs it couldn't be nicer or easier to work with and that's a fact. If you're looking for a Marina on the Metedeconk, you should absolutely check out Cassidy's. Find Mark and have a chat.

To top it off, the bathrooms are the best I've seen in my 15 plus years of boating. You open the door to an air conditioned environment that is very clean and has all the amenities you need, including showers that are nicer than some hotels I've stayed in. I rented a slip from the owner, Barbara, who seemed nice at first. She required cash immediately to hold the slip, which I found a bit odd but went along with it because the price was right and the marina had great ratings. However, it quickly became clear that Barbara had also rented the same slip to other people and took their money as well. This is how the story of lies began. To try and fix the cascading situation she offered to move me to the bulk head which I agreed to. Just a day before I was set to move in, she informed me that I couldn't use the bulkhead because she doesn't actually own the rights to it. When I asked for a refund she said she would call me back two days later because she might have a slip for me. She failed to call me back and was not answering my calls or text. Finally Barbara returned my call and told me that I could not use her marina. I immediately asked for a refund. Barbara was unable to immediately return my money. She tried lying to me, claiming that an attorney would send me a check in a week. I asked for her attorney's name and The name she provided did not exist. I then confronted her at the marina and she told me that she would be back at 1:30 with my money. She never came back and stopped answering my calls. She only communicated through text after her grand disappearing act. I caught Barbara in several more lies, which finally led me to file a police report for stolen money. After several threats of civil and criminal action, Barbara finally returned my money a day later. I fear she may have scammed another person to gather the money she needed to repay me. Barbara and Blue Lagoon Marina were facing charges of theft by deception but avoided these charges by turning over the money just 60 minutes before the deadline I gave her before I pressed official charges. She was very surprised to see the great men of the Brick Police Department when she finally turned over my money. This was officially documented by the Brick Township Police.
