Aside from inadvertently going on a hike on this trail, it was nothing short of spectacular.
Headed up the path a couple hours before sunset. Stopped at the beaches along the path - the Pass, Wategos, Little Wategos and Tallow Beach on the way back down around the other side. Made it to the lighthouse just in time for the sunset.
Many other people up there taking photos and just enjoying the scenery. Also many people on the beach, just hanging out or enjoying a beach picnic for the sunset. This is definitely a way of life in Byron & one I'm jealous of!
As previously mentioned, this path is essentially a hike so dress appropriately. Once you pass Wategos, there are a ton of steps to go up towards the lighthouse. Lots of people getting their workout on as well.
