Then you take in the office decor, which seems nothing like your typical waiting area at all. Typically, you are greeted with decades old furniture buy here it has actual thought placed into it. Wait time is always minimal with a warm welcome by staff to take you back. They are engaging & and friendly, whereas others just want to push you through the processes with little to no interaction and then on to the next. Then you briefly sat in a separate waiting area & and within minutes I was in a room. Dr. Denaro, I love her professional yet personal touch. She always has a wonderful smile & explains everything. She makes you feel as if you are her main priority that day. You would never know if she had 5 or 50 patients to see. I'm 54 yrs old & worn glasses/contacts since I was 7 & never out of all the doctors I have seen had a doctor make me feel as if they were personally vested in my eye health! When I arrived I was greeted immediately. The front staff and assisting optician staff were all personable. They had to work together to get all my info straightened out before I could see the optician. They did have the abilithy to scan my retina's which important to me. Dr. Richardson did not introduce himself when he walked in to see me, but he was detailed with my exam and I felt comfortable in his knowledge and abiity to assist me. There was plenty of staff in the different positions, I did not see anyone waiting around to be helped. They seem to have an extensive selection of frames. I am happy at this point with the service I received at this office. 10/10 I would highly recommend this Optician.

LASIK Eye Surgery is a game changer!…read more I've been a glasses and contacts wearer for over 25 years. I've been contemplating Lasik Eye Surgery for going on 10 years. The fear of having eye surgery always kept me from going through with Lasik. After many discussions with Donna, the Lasik Eye Coordinator I made the decision to go through with Lasik. The initial consult with Dr. Hudson eased all my fears of Lasik. She was very thorough with testing to ensure I was a good candidate for Lasik. When she told me I was a good candidate, that gave me the confidence I needed to do the surgery. The day of surgery went smoothly! Dr. Hudson walked me through the entire process during surgery. I was nervous but she calmed all my fears. Post op has been great as well. The day after surgery was my first appointment. I like the fact she truly takes care for her patients before, during, and after care. I still can't believe I no longer need glasses or contacts. My eye sight was 20/20 the day after surgery. My quality of life is so much better already. I no longer have to worry about where my glasses are or if I have enough contacts and solution. The freedom I have now is like an outlook on life! I can't recommend Dr. Hudson and her team at Middle Tennessee Eye enough! If you have been on the fence about Lasik, let this be your sign to make the appointment.

Even the eye doctor seemed checked out, like he just wanted to get through the appointment and call it a day. She suggests everything from vitamins for your eyes to contact solution and even ways to reduce the strain on eyes from staring at computer or phone screens. The place was a little busy, but the doctor and receptionist worked very efficiently to get me and the other patients taken care of in a timely manner without making me feel rushed! I especially recommend Wheeler Eye Care for students and young kids because the atmosphere is relaxed and not intimidating. The last thing I loved about this business is that they treated me like family! They remembered my name and greeted me with a warm welcome even after missing one of my appointments!! I highly recommend Dr. Matt Warden. He's very easy to talk to and he is great at answering questions in a way you can understand. He gave me a sample of different brands of contacts so I can find the one I like the most before ordering.
