For several years, l've had the support and exceptional guidance of Chad Williams and his team. My…read moreexperience with them has been nothing short of life-changing. Surpassing any expectation I held for legal representation, especially in such a sensitive and emotionally charged chapter of life. They have listened intently and demonstrate being capable of strategically dissecting the intricacies of my case. Their combination of compassion and legal acumen is remarkably rare, and it's what sets this practice apart. Over the years, our interactions encompassed a broad spectrum of family law matters, including complex custody arrangements and ongoing modifications. Throughout this journey, Mr Williams and his paralegal, Mrs Leinneweber consistently demonstrated professionalism, responsiveness, and a deep commitment to achieving the best possible outcome for my family and me. I would, and often do, recommend them to families needing representation.

We chose him because he is board certified, that is important to me. Price wise, he charges about…read morethe same or a little more as other lawyers for the same services. To me his services were worth every dollar. On a personal level he is great, personable, easy to talk to and does seem to care and help you out. Although he was in court often his secretary would always be available and knowledgable. She would return calls promptly when a call was rarely missed and did keep in contact with us even when the "courts" were uneventfully moving slow. We didn't know a thing about the court process and he explained every step of the way to ease our nervousness. I would recommend him to anyone who seeks a family lawyer involving kids.

We had discussed the overall cost of her services. A few days later, after giving it consideration, I called her office. The assistant got back with me but the cost had gone up. I refuted the price discrepancy with the assistant and was informed that she would talk with Claudia and would get back with me. Later, I had received a return call and was informed that Claudia had decided not to take my case and advised me to seek out another attorney that could help me. Because of the bait and switch tactic about cost. I don't believe that I could trust an attorney that does something like this. Makes me think of what else could I not trust about what would be said up front, then do in my case once hired to be my attorney. At least I only lost $75 but it's still $75 less than what I had before I spoke with her.

I would strongly caution against hiring this woman as your attorney. When my mother died, we were…read moregrief stricken. We came down to Abilene to arrange for her funeral services. My mother died of a heart attack so it was very unexpected, because she had just recently been remarried her estate was not up to date. We were confused and needed legal guidance. When we came to visit with Ms. Clinton she said she would charge us the Dallas rate for an attorney, (which at that time was $375 an hour). She got her timer out and began to set it (of course not before getting payment from us). My brothers and I were young in our early 20's and just wanted help in sorting out our mothers humble estate. I now know most attorneys will give a free consultation to hear you case. This was 10 years ago and I probably would not be writing about this had I not seen Ms. Clinton on my last trip to Abilene. I was in court with a friend and saw Ms. Clinton as she was leaving the courthouse. Of course, she did not recognize me. I am now the HR Director for a major hospital here in the Dallas area, I have a MBA, serve on the Board of Directors for a domestic violence shelter. 10 years ago, my brothers and I were just 3 young college kids who had lost their mom who worked so hard to raise them as a single mother. Ms. Clinton took advantage of this, by 1)Never doing anything for my mothers estate-she asked us to file a few papers which did nothing to settle my mothers estate (we even had to call on friends and family in Abilene to do this legal paperwork. These friends and family members took off time from work, went by Ms. Clintons office to get the forms (all of which can be found online) and then go submit them to the county and courthouse. 2)My brothers and I made multiple trips from Dallas and Killeen to visit with Ms. Clinton (and remember each time, she would ask for cash payment and then set her kitchen timer for the set time we paid for). In hindsight, we were grieving kids, just looking for guidance and she exploited us. Our trips were not necessary and she could have been respectful enough to tell us she was not interested in our case instead she took our money. At the time, I was a daycare aid, one of my brothers worked at Starbucks and the other had just graduated high school and was entering the army as a private. Hopefully, her business ethics have changed. However, after all these years I still remember how she treated my family during a very difficult time.
