Okay not even sure where to start... this place is amazing. I have had some bad experiences in the past from other dentist which had made me fearful of dentist. 10 years later I have been to the office 3-4 times in this month. The work that gets done is amazing the comfort level was beyond amazing. I've never felt more comfortable at a dentist office then I am at Dr. Amin's. All of the staff is super friendly the equipment that he has on site allows you to do same day permanent crown is amazing. His overall skill set talent and passion is easily seen in the techniques that he uses taking care of patients. Dr. Amin is such an amazing Dentist!!! What can I say, from his Front Office Coordinator Adriana, to his Registered Dental Assistants; Susie and Sarah, the whole team is just wonderful! I am a scary cat when it comes to going to the dentist... But good thing I found this place! Dr.Amin communicated with me during every step of my procedure (root canal), making sure I was okay and not in too much pain. Let's be honest. Going to the dentist sucks. Typically, I embrace the suck and keep it moving. I'm a wuss when it comes to dental work and I think most of us are. Dr. Amin and his staff at Lighthouse Dental made me feel so comfortable. The Dental Hygienist Susie engaged in great banter and was so friendly that it warmed me up for the procedure. Once I met Dr. Amin I was sold on the place. He is extremely professional, thorough, gentle and pretty damn funny. It helps to have a sense of humor when it comes to the dentist. I hadn't been to the dentist in way longer than I'd like to admit and was SO nervous coming into my first appointment (pre covid) Leah was a gem and totally put me at ease. She got my mouth squeaky clean and was so sweet. Then, of course when everything is closed because of corona, I get the worst toothache I've ever had. So I called the office, fully prepared to not reach anyone or to beg them to see me but they got me in within an hour of calling and got my root canal scheduled for the next day and I was out of pain! We lived in Bellevue WA a couple years back. My wife had a horrible experience with dental work in the past so she ignored a lot of needed work for years. I was finally able to convince her to meet with Dr. Amin. He did A LOT of hand holding and was able to get her in for a visit for dental work. He boosted her confidence that visiting a dentist didn't need to be stressful nor painful. He then he relocated to San Diego. She needed more work, another 3 visits. The only person who she would see was him ! So we went to San Diego for the next 3 visits and completed all the work. I can tell you tonight- we celebrated and toasted to Dr Amin and team. He changed her perception about dental work and now she is not terrified. She now has a renewed trust that it is possible to get dental help without pain and got the support she needed. I have to admit I'm afraid of dentists. I guess I was lucky that after a bad experience as a kid with a dentist I found this office. I had not had a problem with my teeth for 35 years and found myself with a nasty cavity. I finally had to sit in the chair. I admit I was waiting for something to hurt. I was so well taken care of that it renewed my faith in dentists. Dr. Woznuk is also an awesome person that puts you at ease helping you understand whats normal and what steps can be done to help you improve your overall health care. A nice man but not a good dentist. My husband and I each had five Cerec crowns put on and within three years, we each had to have three of them replaced because they were poorly done. None of the work he did has lasted. He's chatty and personable, but that's not what counts. read more
