Lighthouse was a school that I wasn't aware of with my oldest daughter but the youngest got to experience this place and it was incredible! They got to do so many different fun things and very curriculum based! What is really cool is that the kids get to meet friends from all the local schools and carry their friendships after they leave! All the teachers are amazing and would highly recommend! read more

Lighthouse is a private preschool in North Topeka catering to the needs of parents and children who want an exceptional preschool experience for children ages 3-6. We are conventionally located Hwy. 75 north, in a state of the art learning environment. Reggio and Montessori inspired curriculum awaits your young learner.

History

Established in 2010.

We have been in business for 15 years and have held the Topeka Nomination for Best preschool since 2017. The owner is familiar with Montessori, Reggio and Creative Curriculum and adds to her teaching with her unique European upbringing. Children at our preschool are happy, engaged learners who thrive in our developmentally appropriate program.

Meet the Business Owner: Susanne L.

I was born and raised in Germany and always loved working with children. The education of young children in a natural environment paired with a good sense of humor and understanding led me to this profession. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and have been in profession for 27 years. I have two grown children and have been married for 39 years.
