Mike Yoakum was overly friendly at first, and always tried to pretend that you were old pals whenever he talked to you. But after years of not listening when we called and raising our rates annually, and moving to a different city, and no longer needing the crazy wheelchair van rental insurace that only Western Reserve would even offer, we decided it was time to shop around.
Mike accused my wife of being drunk when we finally chose another insurance company, verbally harassed her, lied about the policy, and tried to bully her into staying. He even had the gall to insinuate "If you're really a Christian you'd stay with us. We're a Christian company." We never once mentioned religion to him. I find that offensive to Christians and non Christians alike.
Then he refused to cancel our policy stating that he only works for his clients which we aren't anymore. "We need you to have the agency send a signed cancel on both home and auto."
Worst of all, I believe that he's an old school sexist who would never have said half of those things if he were talking to me instead of my wife.
