No one asked if I needed anything as I looked around standing in one place. Finally someone said something about 2mins later but by that time I noticed my neighbor who led the way. The music was ok, the young lady singing just was not into it but the guys on drum and guitar was definitely jamming! I will definitely attend again to get more of a feel. This has been my church for 35 years. My children were baptized and went to the school and I even…read morehad a memorial service for my father here. While we have a newer building this church is celebrating it's 150th year. Founded by German Catholics some of the German traditions still exist. The most German of all is our annual Sausage Supper. What could me more German than sausage? Oh yea beer. There is always beer served at all major events. This church was at one time had the largest community in the St. Louis metro area. Our population has shrunk over the past 10 years where we are no longer even in the top 10. But big is not always better. St. Joseph's offer many spiritual services in addition to a fine kindergarten through 8th grade education. We have so many groups that we built a multipurpose building to hold the many functions. I can list a few functions Father's club, Mother's club, AA meetings, bible study, devotions and charity works. None of which I go or belong to. I use the church for my devotion and spitual needs. Oh if you want to go to Christmas or Easter mass get here 45 minites ahead of the start of mass or you will be standing.

This didn't surprise me as I have known of this church since the early 90's and they have been a strong presence in the STL area and support some great people and organizations.
