They have new and gently used gear, clothes, and shoes- for Christmas or every day, this is the store to choose! I got new hiking boots for only 59 Franks, elsewhere was at least 200, for that I`m giving thanks! The snowshoe selection downstairs had new and slightly used, but not enough sizes from which I could choose. But I`ll totally come back, for warm or active wear, it`s just the coolest store with prices beyond compare!

Picked up a new hostel liner for hut-to-hut hikes, didn't find the book we hoped for, and figure I'll be back next time I need some ski gloves.

I did not shop the department store areas but I did find plenty of snacks and instant coffee for the hotel room. The fresh food area is spacious and clean with lots of options for "grab and go" and "heat and eat" if you're not looking to cook. The bakery was pretty darned amazing as well. Grocery section is tidy and well laid out with clear prices. Checkout went well. It was helpful to have a self-checkout kiosk (with an "English" button) so that I don't have to deal with language barriers. I also bought a "Migros" shopping bag for my collection. The place gives you fresh market feelings and they prepare the food in front of you. Everything is locally sourced and tastes delicious! We had a wonderful fruit smoothie and bowl of fruits. There is a good amount of seating and a nice rooftop terrace that would be great in the warm weather.
