Full service grocery store that was not at all busy on a weekday morning, I was able to browse without being disturbed and pick up the snacks for tomorrow's long train journey. Meat counters, frozen fish, lots of booze, bakery, produce, dairy and the aisle of randomness that today had electric shavers, TV mounting cables, wine glasses and bakeware. Paying for my purchase was easy enough despite my lack of German and the young man at checkout not speaking much English. i used to go here all the time while studying abroad as it was a two minute walk from student…read morehousing. cheap wine, cheese, bread, fruit and meat at very high quality, although that might just be a german thing. checkout always stressed me out but it was always worth it. i miss so many products here, wish i could get them imported.
