My goodness. This…read moreshop is located on a major street that stretches forever and is lined with numerous shops and small eateries. I was looking for a big sweater since I did not come adequately prepared for the sudden cold (low 30's in the evenings). Primark is like your local Ross store but a step lower since about 80% of the clothing/accessories/shoes are not brand names, but I was surprised at how inexpensive yet trendy some of the items were. For example, they had a sale on men's jeans for 7 Euro. I purchased a scarf that was inexpensive but good luck if you need to try on anything. This store was packed to the brim. Inexpensive, good variety of items, and filled with a majority of locals from the other side of Brussels, if you understand the meaning.

To me it reminds me of Woolworths and stores that try to be a bit of everything but fail miserably. Hema isn't failing however, it's popular enough that you see it poking its head up all over Europe. So for those who like department stores, it's gotta be doing something right. So as the ladies in my life love this place it gets this score. I just so dearly wish that there was a husbands chair. I am super grateful there is a Pierre Marcolini shop located here because I adore his chocolates but it does slightly hit the wallet. There's also a good cheese shop and I hit up Di for girly stuff at the same time. I haven't had much luck with the bread shop so tend to avoid it. There's also a C&A (similar to Macy's or JC Penney) which has great bargains from time to time. The one store I hate to shop at here is Proximus - don't get me wrong, am very glad it's here but the lines are so long, they either need to staff up, or expand store footage or have more seating. The people at the help desk (located in the middle of the mall) are always very friendly and there's always some sort of goodies available. Also suggest that you go thru mall magazine (also found at the help desk) because sometimes there are great coupons and deals to be found!

First off, this store is quite large, but lacks direction, which is okay for those wanderers. Another negative is their lack of beer selection, which is sad since its located in Brussels! Other than that, it is what one comes to expect when visiting Lidl, basically a bargain shoppers dream as well as an absolute treasure hunt since the inventory constantly changes. Lines were not too bad either, so ultimately a win win for me. Will continue my love and devotion to shopping at this chain when visiting Europe!

I think this store is like a poor man's Aldi (although I feel Aldi is already a poor man's store) so maybe Lidl is a *poorer man's* store. I guess you can get the basics here but nothing fancy.
