When I'm done getting my fitness on around the corner at the Planet, Lidl is always a quick trot away for my weekly grocery grab. I like these European style groceries because they actually allow for a quick and easy in and out with minimum waste and fanfare. So make sure you bring your own reusable bags with you. The bakery selection just inside the door is probably the most noteworthy part of a visit here. Then there's a huge selection of fruits and veggies followed immediately by meats and dairy. If you're following a low preservative, low added sugars diet, you can be done with your shopping within this first third of the store. As you come in, don't forget to snag the latest coupon ad. There's always some fantastic deals on meats, usually including grass-fed beef. Aside from what I call "real food", there are plenty of boxed and packaged foods to fit all the average American kitchen desires. Cookies, crackers, chips, cereal, canned, frozen, spices, baking needs, and so on. The far side wall has a huge selection of wine, including occasionally unexpected varietals like Tempranillo and Cotes du Rhone. A lot of European import cookies and chocolates can be readily found on this side too. And I would be remiss not to mention the large selection of hard household goods filling most of the back of the store. Think kitchen utensils, bowls, hygiene items, basic clothing, seasonal stuff, and fitness gear just to name a sampling. Checkout is sometimes overwhelmed and takes the most time to get through. I had been shopping at the bakery at this place regularly lately & encountered the rudest behavior from the manager. Found out an "associate " was already gossiping about me . It's safe to say I completely lost my desire to shop here this point. I'll stick to Aldis where the prices are great and the associates are friendly & not racist or instigating drama against customers . read more

We were at the cash register NO ONE was around, so I thought I would download the app ( firstimer) and he was like "oh man " as if I was wasting his time. Finally came to check this out, heard LIDL is German based. They have a bakery as soon as you enter, plenty of patterned and breads. They have a great selection of fresh products, meats, vegetables, and diary. What caught my attention where they international goods.(pickled cabbage was on point!) Beer selection is also very well rounded and for the sweet seekers ice cream is well stocked. read more

Right now I am so disappointed in this store. It is completely mismanaged and is impossible to shop. I am a disabled veteran who uses a wheelchair and I can not shop this store. The American Disabilities Act requires five feet for wheelchair access and here I am lucky if I can get three feet. Every aisle is blocked with large Oversize carts for boxes pallets left in aisle unattended and displays blocking aisle entrances. When I tried to talk to the manager she looked at me like I was bothering her said ok and walked off. This is ridiculous. read more

As a new shopper I was extremely impressed with the customer service and organization of this store. Two employees really made the shopping experience, not only for me but multiple shoppers a very pleasant one. ISAIAH AND REMY were attentive and full of smiles. Never loosing their patience even with a high volume of customers and guiding is on how to be a member on the app in a quick yet informative manner. Raggedy store with food that isn't fresh and they don't even have plastic bags here. You have to bring your own bag or pay 12¢ for a brown paper bag. Never coming to this piece of crap store ever again. read more

I found the store just okay. I found some groceries for a decent price. I don't get the hype. I liked the slicer for my fresh loaf of bread, but was stymied by how to get the sliced bread out of the sliced and into the bag without touching it with my grocery store hands. read more

Amazing store. I shop here very frequently. They do have problems with self checkout fairly often but it's usually a quick fix. The aisles are always clean, shelves organized, well lit in terms of light too. Produce section has a good variety of fruits and vegetables which are usually in good condition. Their shelf products, depending if you get store brand items (Lidls) have very few ingredients unlike other name brands that put heavy chemicals and additives in non perishable foods. You'd usually see a worker or two on the floor stocking food, they are very friendly and help with any questions. Technology wise they do have an app that you can see diffident deals they have, which I find cool. They usually only have 1 or 2 registers open if you would like the normal shopping experience. YOU DO HAVE TO BAG YOUR OWN ITEMS!!! Which I have no problem with and bags aren't free they cost $.12 cents for the paper and a little more for the reusable ones read more

It's hard to resist/turn away Lidl's fresh-baked treats. Got my apple turnovers and pretzels. Customer service it's super rude specially in evening shift. Don't try to come close to closing time because you will be chased by managers and be reminded constantly that you have 15 min left and time to go home because there day was long and they have long ride home. Blonde short women is one who don't like customers and definitely hate her job. Nice store for prices and some European items, once in a while you find old dates expired food items but I guess we customers need to pay attention what we buying. Definitely 1 star because of evening experiences with rude managers and there unprofessionalism. Switching to ALDI store for sure. read more

I like shopping here not too crowded, the prices are good on a few items and Very good on some others. The items I purchased were just as good as any where else, there was one exception and a little bbq gravy took care that plus it was far less money than I usually spend. New store just opened last month next to Gander Outdoors in the old HH Gregg space. It's not a huge store and I agree with another reviewer who noted the similarity to Aldi's. I was impressed with how much of a variety they packed into this store and the prices are great! They have an excellent bakery section. This store is what is known as a "hidden gem." read more
