It's small, though, so be aware, as the aisles can get really crowded, and shopping carts tend to run out. I love all Aldis but have visited this one the most, even when at one time I lived closer to another. They have the greatest varieties and selections. Prices lower because of the way they service their customers. I prefer this way to keep our prices as low as possible. The cut flowers are better than reasonable, fresh, and beautiful. The employees have always been so courteous. They get to know their customers well. I hope they continue to have stores come up in other locations too. I have turned everyone I can towards Aldis! I have been shopping at Aldi's since they opened their first store in Fayetteville, NC. I am now retired and living on a very frugal budget. It amazes me how much I save on groceries. I avoid grocery stores as if they were a plague! In all of my years shopping I have been treated with great customer service. However, yesterday my husband and I were shopping at your Raeford Road store and as we approached the checkout lane, your cashier, Nadine, immediately got out of her chair and insisted she unload our cart for us. It was obvious we are Senior Citizens. My husband uses a cane to walk but can still lift somewhat. I was so very impressed with her kindness. I am unable to lift due to severe back issues. So, I initially ran into Aldi's when I was studying abroad in Denmark, so walking in, I was pleasantly surprised that the cashiers were sitting while checking out the products. Side note: I'm so glad that they're not on their feet, unlike other places, because it honestly means that there is some consideration for the staff's comfort. Okay, so it's really a no fuss, no muss place. The food is very affordable and may come from brands that many people will not be able to recognize, but hey, it's relatively fresh and affordable food, no complaints there. I really recommend Aldi to anybody who wants really cheap food. read more

ALDI is my go to store for fresh produce. This store has always been clean every time I've been. You have to be sure you bring your own reusable bag to prevent purchasing bags while there. You are able to get free boxes you can pack your items in when available. The only thing is it's about like Walmart... All these registers with no cashiers, but the lines move rather quickly. read more

Not sure what the big draw is to this place. Was driving through and stopped for some fresh fruit. Not impressed, no name brand items and the fruit is more expensive than the Walmart across the street and double the prices of Sprouts. Currently our area is preparing for Hurricane Florence and water is scarce. I was finally able to find water at the local Aldi, and it was very affordable. They had not hiked the price up due to the demand. And on top of that one of their staff members, Candice, was a great help. She patiently worked with the panicked customers, helping us load our cases of waters, and informing us of future shipments. She did this with a smile and a comforting voice. Right now, our area is in a panic due to the storm, so it was so needed to see and hear someone who was so pleasant and patience working with the customers. Thank you Candice! I love Aldi's. They have fresh flowers, fruits and vegetables for a family friendly price. The quality at times can be touch and go but thats with any fruit and vegetable section in stores. Their quantity can vary at times depending on the sales, so if you want to get the sale you will have to be there early. I love that they offer fresh roses 6 for $3.99! As with any store you have to watch the expiration dates and dont forget your re-usable bags and a quarter! They do not accept credit cards but they do accept debit. read more

This is usually our first stop, if no markets are open. They have reasonable price, apples,pineapples, oranges and other item. At one point every store was sold out of jalapeño peppers or they were 2.50 lb and they had them for really cheap and they had avacado for 59. Compared to most people 1. Plus. I've shopped at the store for years now and my only complaint is that the aisles are really too narrow to get people passing each other while shopping comfortably. But it's easy to see why because the store is tiny compared to some that I have seen with this chain. As always the meat is high quality and the expiration dates way in advance. The produce can be hit-or-miss but that's probably because of the way the customers are handling it and not the stores fault. Cashiers are almost always polite at this location except for once or twice I've had a few that were so busy trying to speed race your items across the scanner that they damaged them throwing them in the basket. But other than that it's a great experience when I go. Now if I could only remember to put some of the 100 reusable bags I bought over the years back into the trunk of my car so I don't keep purchasing them every time I come. read more

Every single time, I have come to this store, they never have what they advertise in stock!!! How are you supposed to run a supermarket when you are out of stock all the time? I have been to this particular store 4 different times, and they never have what is advertised in the flyer!! And they don't even offer a rain check. Also you have to pay for grocery bags and carts? I always wonder if more people would shop here if they knew Aldi Corp owned Trader Joe's?? Hmmm?!? Most people assume this is a junky place where only people with lesser means shop. I have to say that every time I step out I feel like a GENIUS!! The low prices are phenomenal I have on numerous occasions bought items under the Aldi brand that are exactly the same as TJ's products and for the most part well known national brands. Same taste, same packaging, slightly different labeling. Don't forget your quarter because you need one to get a cart. When you return it, you get your quarter back. Also bring your own bags or you can buy theirs. They do these things to keep costs low. Also like TJ's they have a limited selection of items. Their produce has improved over the years and I am pleased with that. They have over the years introduced their own brand of healthy alternative foods ( Fit n Active) that is quite good, and again are mostly name brands in Aldi packaging. The more items I try the more impressed I am. You can save up to 50% on your grocery's by going here. I have done it myself. So if you are tired of Wal-Mart, can't go to the Commissary, and refuse to pay for Harris Teeter prices, Aldi's will make you a happy shopper!! read more
