This isn't by any means the biggest Tesco you'll find. It stocks most of the usual grocery items…read moreincluding food, drink, cleaning materials and so on but there's only a slimmed down entertainment aisle and very little in way of clothing. On the plus side it is open 24hrs during the week, handily placed just off the A55 and has a decent sized car park. There's also a 24 hour filling station which is very handy.

Horrendous & Bullying Experience..Do not Honor Website Offers…read more Having seen a Good website offers that applied to ALL TESCO Stores , I done a 16 mile round trip , to purchase 6 packs of Kronenberg, Before loading into my Trolly I double checked with customer services the offer was still valid... "Yes"...they said On checkout , it appeared this was,nt the case, so was made to go back to customer services desk , whereby the lady supervisor arrived. I explained my case , to which I was given the 3rd degree about what I had seen on the Tesco website! By this time the security man arrived , and the original customer services girl had gone home! By this time , I am starting to get a bit upset, about been treated like some sort of idiot!...Being a 55 year old widower, with a degree, ...the impassive nature of the staff was quite shocking. Next minute the security man , started proding me in the back ...telling me to keep my voice down! "Absolutely not".....and I continued to express myself...a minute or two later , the manager showed his face ...and Clearly Stated "WE DON,T ALWAYS COMPLY WITH WEBSITE OFFERS"....i LEFT SHAKING & HUMILIATED . I phoned Tesco main Customer services , who apologised and were very sympathetic....and offered a voucher , which I will and have not spent! I have phones the Police instead , and reported the security man for common assault. I should mention , this was on a Saturday afternoon at 1 pm !!!

According to the locals, this is a bigger store than the regular ones. If I get a chance to visit a regular store, I'll confirm, lol. This one does have 2 levels, and you can take the lift (elevator) or the escaltors escalators. The escalator going down wasn't working the times I've been, but just walk down anyway. They have cashiers for check out as well as self check-out lanes. Prices here are awesome! I'm a huge fan of their bakery bread and the snacks. Their sparkling water game is pretty strong, too. Don't be shocked if I check in here again, lol!

If you're around Liverpool, Tesco's of all versions are dotted around places: metro, local, express, superstore. If there are any more, you'll have to let me know! The Liverpool One branch of Superstore is not actually the most super I have come across in Liverpool as there is one in Litherland which is gargantuan in comparison. However, Liverpool One Tesco is certainly what the town needs. You still have plenty of choice here, a variety of sections such as deli, clothes and international foods to keep you adding more to your basket! I find this place more of a relaxing and enjoyable shopping experience as opposed to the Metro version by the big screen, because its more spacious and offers an abundance of products. The location isn't great if you're driving there as it'll cost you pounds to park somewhere nearby but certainly convenient when you have other chores to do around town.

    Tesco - It's orange-y & cakey, not "Twix-y" like I thought! Good, though!

When my wife tried to get out of the car she slipped on the ice that was untreated across the whole area. She was fortunate that she was able to stop herself from falling by holding onto the door. I drove from the parking spaces and found a lesser frozen area. We made our way across the pedestrian crossing and into front of the store. The surface of the crossing and surrounding areas was very slippery and untreated with many people nearly falling. When we were leaving at 10.15 I saw a storeman had started to throw salt on the crossing and along the pathway With the car park so frozen at that time why as a matter of duty of care hadn't it occurred to anyone to make the areas clear of ice before the store got busy with customers.

What's good about this store is that it's the only 24 hour supermarket for miles, but as it's a bit too far for people from Bangor to walk to, it's very quiet of a night. The Tesco store has an excellent cafe which is located above the store floor up an escalator which means customers get to people watch others doing their shopping (and look at the dust on top of the aisles!) whilst they drink their coffee, eat their muffin and read their newspaper. The cafe is quite large and there's always an abundance of free seats and plenty of staff serving which minimises the queueing time. Prices in the cafe are reasonable, for example a cafe latte coffee is around £1.15 whilst a jacket potato with a little pot of tuna is £2.50. The store has a great entertainment section, with a wide range of dvds and cds, and all the latest mobile phones, mp3 players, kettles and other electrical goods. As well as this they have an entire row filled with the yellow deal racks, which include stationary, clothes, tools and home utensils, and some of the special offers are located immediately upon entering the store, which highlights the best offers.

So it was travel to home day. We have engagements we must honour and had we not we'd have stayed…read moreanother few weeks. So after a near 4 hour drive we called into a bright airy Morrisons supermarket in Holyhead 10 mins drive from the 'Irish' ferry to Dublin. It calls itself Irish Ferries but is crewed by an almost 100% non - Irish workforce, supplied by a 3rd party agency whose minimum wage lifestyles of a few quid an hour and a cut for the agency of course have helped make Eamon Rothwell and JB Mc Guckian inadequately taxed multi - millionaires. We shopped for fresh baked bread. I got a loaf with cheese baked in for £2 and a litre of fresh milk about a quid for breakfast in the morning but we also had in mind some food for our journey to avoid the overpriced muck that passes for food on the not at all Irish ferry. This slop gets to me every time. I mean why on Earth can't they just make tasty good food, with fresh ingredients. I couldn't imagine either Rothwell or JB allowing this rubbish into their mouths. I noted on board that a shallow bowl of minestrone soup, made from a packet, is €10. A factory made chicken curry and cheap white rice is near €20. If you served this stuff free in a prison you'd have a riot and the prisoners would likely join in. So we spotted a meal deal in Morrisons that gave us two oriental salads one chicken based and one sweet potato/bhaji based which were tasty spiced for factory made, two costa coffees, again much better than Mc Donald's and a snack from a range of chocolate bars thru packets of crisps. We got two complete meals with our coffees and snacks under a tenner or for less than the price of one serving of packet soup aboard.

I rarely see supermarket cages left on the shopfloor too, which is good as they can be a pain to navigate pass. They tend to have cheaper prices and better deals than the competition and I find their own brand products much nicer too. Checkout is fast and friendly. The cafe is also suprisingly good. It has a wide selection of meals on the menu and is staffed by friendly and hard working individuals. I've had better meals here than I've had at some fancy restraunts and pubs! Highly recommended for the weekly/monthly food shopping exeprience.
