I had a great experience with this company. I was able to retake my exam due to it being expired and pass on the first try. There were 2 questions out of 150 that I had no idea about had to do with some laws but I passed and I'm happy I took the course. The questions on the practice exam are very differently worded than the questions on the real exam. I would say they are worded in a more tricky fashion on License Solution. However, that worked in my favor because I was able to find the actual test easier. Lastly I want to say their customer support is fantastic. I would like to thank License Solution for their good learning materials, well-designed random and simulated prep questions and great customer service. I passed the three courses after self-learning the books in a total of 60 days and got 85/96/89 scores; I prepared the state exam using the random mold and simulated mold until I am very familar with all the questions and correct answers and the reason why, and got consistently scoring over 90%. I passed the state exam at first try. It took only one hour and and 15 minutes to finish most of the questions and I took another 30 mins to review and make up some of the unanswered questions for the first time. The questions are not exactly the ones I've seen in the simulated pre questions but I understand the key point what is testing for, so it is not very hard for me and by the time I clicked finish I know I will pass it for sure. This was the most thorough class, as well as the best for having the tools to pass. As a full time working, single mom, this was a great choice of schools to go with. I did get referred by my soon to be broker, who also swears by it. The books themselves are very helpful, but what I found most helpful was the help from the folks at License Solution. My first time going for the exam, I thought I was ready. I was not. LC does offer a money back guarantee and they did pay for the failed exam. I did correspond this via email, and Gene was very helpful and offered the advice to really utilize the end of chapter quizes and especially the practice exams, that you can take a million times if you want to! It took me a while to recover that blow. But I still persisted. I paid for the extension to have access to the practice exams (which I highly recommend) The questions (over 1000 rotating every time you take a practice test) and they are the closest you will find to the actual exam, by far. The support I got online and over the phone was amazing and I couldnt speak more highly of a school. Passed the exam way ahead of everyone else and finished in 90 minutes on my first try! I bought the License Solutions course last year and passed the three certifications.. Then due to the Pandemic had to wait almost a year to be able to get scheduled for the in person exam. License Solution was so very kind as to extend their study material for me for an entire month once I did get my exam scheduled so i could freshen up on the material. This review is only for their Basic Package $99. It was what I was looking for. A cheap option to satisfy a requirement to get a salesperson license from CA BRE. Going through the course material, there were some mistakes. To me, they seemed pretty obvious to pick out (where the answer to the quiz question was directly contradicted by the chapter). The owner/author probably would benefit from going through the coursework again. (I believe the owner of the company is a co-author on all the material). As for the exam review itself, I just checked out a book from a local library which did the job. In general, I also believe in reading at least 2 different authors to get a different take. In doing so, I found most of the coursework was applicable and accurate. In retrospect, I think if I only studied the coursework, I would have passed. I would definitely recommend this course to someone else. I'm giving 4 stars only because of the few mistakes I did find. Of note, other than signing up and receiving the material, I never called in except to set up the account. read more

You sign up and in three months you get your licence (so long that you read through the books properly). Complete waste of money. I had my real estate license in MI. I decided to study and receive my CA license. This company (appears to be out of the trunk of a car), seemed intriguing due to the low cost and the powerful salesmanship over the phone. I received my books and was horrified. The font is so huge, it makes reading very uncomfortable. Huge fonts are understandable for elderly people (I own three elderly care homes), but if this was a reputable company, they would offer regular font books as well. Zero illustrations. Terrible coverage of information. Many mistakes in the books. Definitely out of date information. When I called to inquire if there were books available with smaller print, I was talked at in a condescending manner. He physiologically berated me for "not being compassionate for older customers"! Compassion is who I am, I care for the elderly. He was rude and very unprofessional. They are also very sketchy in their website about how long you have to finish. They have two very different dates in the same paragraph. When I called to ask which date was the correct one, I received a recording. After two days of a recording at various times, I left a message. It took three days for a return call and he reassured me they know there is misconstrued information on the site regarding times, but that is how it is. It made no sense to me unless they were working some kind of car-trunk-business. When I looked up terms from the book on the internet, I found the book information to be very out of date! The questions they were asking after each chapter were not relevant to the state exam! I purchased a different companies books and voilà, illustrations of all the needed contracts, maps, townships, metes and bounds, much more... all there in easy to read format. When I looked up the book questions, this new company is right on. A good clue this company is up to date, the computer coincided with the book and their books are dated with the year made because they update their books when needed. Note that License Solution does not update their book information to keep up with the laws and changing ways. That would cost money, just as offering the books in readable print for all would cost money. This is not a reputable company. I am not finished here. I am reporting to the BBB. Read the 5 star reviews, notice they all "sound" the same! These are not real. Don't be ripped off like I was! Isn't it strange that the few reviews here are all 5 stars and basically say the exact same thing?! This screams "scam." I really felt I researched the different companies before choosing License Solution. I obviously did not thoroughly research these companies. Please choose anyone else! You will waste your money. Yes, License Solution is cheapest, but the information they provide is useless! After fully reading these books and then the books by another company, I am certain License Solution is a scam! Right out of the trunk of a car - or very close! Please do your research, this company can take months away from you reaching your real estate license. Let me first start by saying I give every company credit for trying! However, this is another perfect example of how flawed our educational system really is. The only way to learn is by taking action and actually doing the job as a way to internalize the techniques and concepts (10% theory 90% action). Sitting at home and reading this mumbo jumbo until you're blue in the face is not an effective strategy. This is why so many kids come out of university/college and have no idea how to be effective in the world and make money. These books and exams are no different. You will read information that does not coincide with the questions that pop up on the tests, and even if you manage to pass you will come out with no understanding on how to be a realtor and how this business actually works in real life situations. The information in these books contain a lot of lawyer talk, and unless you've been doing this for over 3 years you cannot possibly understand it. It just makes me laugh, hah. My advice is to utilize youtube videos of people in the business, as well as finding a real estate agent that can act as a mentor and take you out infield to actually learn the ropes. Over time (a year or more) you will begin to internalize the information to prepare you. Then you will get your chance to be successful in this field. Best of luck! read more
