I needed to get an antigen test for Covid, I found…read morethis facility via a web search and though it was pricier than some other places at $150, I needed results quickly so I booked an appointment, filled out the form online and paid. Though the website I was taken to in order to book this appointment was for Concimed, when the screen popped up to confirm the appointment, it had a logo for "Alliance Health" and all the confirmation and followup e-mails I received were from Alliance Health. When I arrived, I noted this place was filled with barber chairs and there was a small area at the front of the shop they had curtained off where they were doing the Covid testing. It appeared to be a barber shop or salon where they just happened to have a "pop up" area to do Covid tests. I gave the woman my name, explained I had an appointment and she gave me a clipboard and asked me to fill out the form. It was exactly the same form I'd already completed on the internet when I'd booked my visit. I'm not sure why they ask you to complete all that information ahead of time on the internet when they're just going to ask for all of it again when you arrive - seems like they've either wasted your time by having you do it online, or they're wasting your time by having you do it all again when you arrive. I returned the clipboard and noted the woman had something to the effect of "Lice Troopers" embroidered on the front of her scrubs. Odd, but OK. The antigen test was quick, she didn't stab my brain like some of the PCR test facilities have done and basically used a Q-Tip to swab only the opening of both nostrils. My result came to me quickly via e-mail. When I got home, I did a search for this street address and I got several hits for "Lice Troopers" and "Lice Removal and Lice Treatment Services". That in mind, I'm not sure what role Concimed or Alliance Health plays here, but it appears I came to the facility of Lice Troopers, and they just happen to have a side hustle, offering covid testing. I guess that also explains all the barber-style chairs everywhere. Enjoy!

The business has been split into two parts the front is the COVID-19 testing but when you walk through there's a door that leads to the area where the technicians attend you and do the treatments. I had the pleasure of meeting Trisha she was my technician and was immediately welcoming and put me at ease. I was very nervous, itchy and tired. I had already tried the over-the-counter treatment for lice removal a week prior and still felt that it wasn't completely gone. As soon as she started checking she showed me that I still had some, eek! She then proceeded to begin the process and very thoroughly combed my hair while chatting up and making me feel at ease that this was going to be resolved. She combed my hair in parts thoroughly, twice! They have a membership for those that have multiple people in their household or children at $9.95 per month, I recommend that but for just the initial treatment it is a little bit pricey at $175.
