We called to ask a simple question, but were told we need to schedule a "consultation" which would be about $450 per hour. The office kept calling us and sending reminders to be on time. We got there exactly on time, but yet needed to wait about 15 minutes for the attorney to join us. A secretary asked us to complete a form with our private info, including SS# and more. We kindly dismissed it, stating "we only have a question". A short middle age fellow in a gray suit entered, said "Hello"" and asked why we were there. We started to ask the question, when someone from or party took over asking the question. The middle age fellow, who we assume was Mr. Zaltz, interrupted and asked a question. I proceeded to answer "AKA name, and the last name". Then I said "Whatever". Meaning, it was irrelevant to the question we had. Mr. Zaltz turned towards myself and my husband and said in a very loud rude voice, "When I ask a question, you don't answer "Whatever". You respond and do as I say! And when my girls in the office tell you to do something, you do it without question!" I turned to my husband blankly and shocked! We stared at each other for a moment. The other party continued to explain our question, as Mr. Zaltz again turned to us and started to yell. "If you don't like what I am telling you and you cannot follow my rules, you can get the hell out of my office!" My husband and I stood up immediately and slowly walked out. The audacity to yell at a potential client and a woman, was just too much to sit through. I do not recommend this "Attorney" for anyone. Do not believe all the positive reviews which are posted. There is no way that a so -called attorney would get those reviews honestly. We hope this will prevent others form being shamed as I have.

I had a good job at a leading financial institution in New York, but all of the happiness was being drained from our lives. Before long, both our young daughters had begin abusing drugs. They were acting out their anger and depression in other heartbreaking ways, too. despite all this, I continued to try to make the marriage work for ten long years. A faithful Catholic, I rejected the very idea of divorce. But I finally realized that my marriage was hopeless, and my life was a shambles. My insistence on trying to save the marriage was destroying the ones I lived the most, the ones who most deserved my love--my children. As the violence escalated, a therapist referred me to Ellen Holtzman. Ellen moved immediately to get me an Order of Protection. My husband had long since stopped being a husband or father, but he fought the divorce. Ellen and her staff were so caring and so good to me. Ellen guided me every step of the way. We spent long hours after my work day was over with thousands of sheets of paper. I always felt like I was her top priority. She knew what I would need to take care of the girls, and she created the best possible scenario for us. Just walking through the courthouse with Ellen, I could see how well liked and respected she is, and I felt like a million dollars. Ultimately, I got full legal and physical custody, and Ellen helped me to see my way clear to a better future. It hasn't been all smooth sailing, but we are working to build that future now, and I am so grateful to Ellen, and to the therapist who led me to Ellen Holtzman and this new life.

Well, when I say life, that is exactly what I was facing: not driving a car legally for the rest of my life in ANY state. At my age, there is so much I wanted to do and much of it involved driving; therefore, I had to do something. My first conversation with this firm was with a member of Zev's firm who explained in layman's terms, "You will never again drive a car unless you work on reducing your point count". Scary situation, but not impossible, and of course, there are no guarantees. We pulled my lifetime DMV driving record and selected 5 different courts to address. His firm filed motions is each of these courts and only 1 of these was rather easy. The remaining required follow up motions due to oppositions from the representative district attorney's office. Zev's team diligently pursued these challenges and eventually we were favorable in 3 of the 5 courts with enough of a point reduction to bring me within the acceptable limits of obtaining a new DL with some restrictions, but the fact is, I'm now legally able to drive again. The remaining 2 courts are still pending. His team will not rest until all of these are resolved. If you are facing similar circumstances, I highly recommend Zev and his team to work with you and safely get you back on the road.
