So I tried my best to get that across to the bearded gentleman who I suspect is the proprietor. What a great guy. His English may not be perfect, but it's far better than my Italian! We went from that brief exchange to some chatting about Italian cinema and Monica Vitti. He pointed out the cool vintage movie posters decorating this place. May seem like a little thing, but experiences like this just made me love visiting Rome all the more. Grazie mille!
