Long live independent bookstores like Libralire! While I'm a totally Amazon addict, there's nothing I love more than giving my money to brick and mortar booksellers with a true sense of vision and passion like Libralire.
The store is huge, beautifully arranged, spacious and full of light so you could spend a nice chunk of time perusing without feeling cramped. What lured me in were the great children's books displayed in the window. I thought there would be a small, kids corner but in fact there's an entire wing of the store stocked with wonderful books, audio sets and activities for children of all ages. I especially liked how the books were arranged by age as well as themes like "back to school" "potty" "new sibling" "separation" -- a very modern repertoire.
I picked up some wonderful gifts for my son and a couple of his good friends who are celebrating their birthdays this weekend.
Nothing better than books as gifts, and this place totally has an amazing selection.
