A very cute spot in Verdun that has a great selection of books. The space itself is cozy while still feeling very open and clean. The artwork for sale that is hanging on the walls is done by artists in the surrounding area. Each artist has a little blurb next to their work. The books are sold at the standard market price, which I hadn't thought about after going to more used bookstores as of late. They also have a little cafe area in the back with a couple of tables to sit at. I would definitely drop in again if I were to return to the Verdun area.

Owners are LGBTQ+…read morefriendly and while the focus of the bookstore isn't just related to LGBTQ+ issues and topics, the vibe here is very progressively oriented. The cafe portion is a small table in the back and the store is pretty small but they literally only opened 3 months ago. They can order just about any book title you're looking for if it's not already in stock. These are new books, not secondhand and the space while small is lovely, full of light and books are well organized. Staff are super friendly as well. A win for Verdun.
