GOD HELP YOU if you ever have a claim. Chances are you'll die if old age before seeing five cents. THEY REALLY STINK....PERSONAL EXPERIENCE...AUTO CLAIM. (PS..I was rear-ended--other driver was ticketed, and I STILL haven't gotten paid....4 months later) read more

I canceled my policy on the 5th, the agent made the mistake of canceling it as of the 4th. They sent the refund check and another refund for over charging me. Then they went back in and reinstated my policy to change it to the 5th to charge me for the 1 day they didn't collect before sending the refund. So because they made a mistake I have to pay for it according to Julius in the dispute department after having to call 3 times for getting hung up on, then being placed on hold for over 15 minutes. Do not go with liberty mutual, seems like they just care about money and not customer service. read more

I wish I could only give one star... customer service is terrible only certain hours you can talk to someone. Raised my rates over 50.00 because I moved less than 4 miles. I also was given false information while signing up for this policy. Terrible company read more

LIBERTY MUTUAL AUTO INSURANCE Had my policy with them for 28 years. Had an accident (not my fault) and it was only the second one in over 50 years driving. Both times I was hit by another driver. After making a claim for damages and injury, my rate was raised by $70 the second month after the accident that's a 25% raise over my normal premium. there were two more increases in subsequent months. When I called Liberty Mutual about the increase in the policy cost I never mentioned the accident I simply ask why have the rates gone up the person I was speaking to on the phone said oh it has nothing to do with your accident it's an across-the-board raise. I find it amazing that I didn't have to mention the accident and E a person on the line from the company mentioned it first. Needless I canceled the policy after 28 years and I went with State Farm insurance who gave me a rate which is less than half the Liberty Mutual rate even with the accident involved prior to taking on this new insurance. Don't be fooled by all their new ads on television about accident forgiveness better car replacement blah blah blah, this company will rip you off! They are most likely doing all the advertising to get new customers because the customers who have been with them for 28 years are sick of getting increases for ridiculous reasons. read more

I had a "right track" from liberty mutual requested and I put it on my car in 2019. I never received any information regarding any safe driving discount other than the 10% for just signing up. . I called and they sent another which I put on my car. Again I never received any information. I called today and was told that Liberty mutual had documented that they told me ( in 2019) that there was no information received from this first tracker and it was not compatible with my Mercedes CLS550. I asked them that if they told me of non-compatibility, which they did not, why did they send a second tracker? I asked for a Supervisor call. Never received one. I feel that THIS IS A SCAM to only garner information. I only drive about 750 miles per year and it seems to me that with such little driving some further discount other than the 10% signup discount should have accounted for some discount!!!! read more

I have been dealing with Liberty Mutual Insurance company thru their agent William Monisera (a Prudential Financial Professional...NOT) since January 2013. This agent seeks only to maximize his profits and sacrifice customer service. I purchased a homeowner's insurance policy on February 1, 2013 and I have received annual rate increases even though I never filed a claim. Each year I would call and ask about options to reduce my premiums. Only once in 4 years did William deign to take my call, and then he transferred me to the home office because he was too busy to take care of my needs. His office staff chose to selectively provide me the option of reducing coverage every year as opposed to any other options. I called again in early May and Stacy G. told me to have a wind mitigation inspection. I purchased the inspection $75 and because of the inspection I received a prorated refund of $268. Future premiums would be reduced by about 40%!! BTW, Stacy is no longer working there. Maybe she couldn't put up with the lies by omission, or maybe she did her job too well. I don't know. Although the savings was great news, I was curious why no one told me that a wind mitigation inspection would reduce my payment significantly for the last four years. I asked why I was never previously offered this option when I explicitly asked for opportunities for reductions in the past and I got no answer. The agent should have offered me this wind mitigation inspection on my first call and thus I would have saved a great deal of money over the past four years. I asked for compensation and reimbursement from the home office for the excess payments and was told "NO WAY!" I called my (former) agent William Monisera and left messages. He has still not returned a call. The home office told me it was my responsibility to read every line of the contract and that I should check on the agent. Bull crap!! if I need to do his work, then I want his commission and his job. SUMMARY- Why if I ask for the availability of discounts would the company intentionally avoid telling me about them? Clearly Liberty Mutual and William Monisera are strictly concerned with profit and do not care about their customers. I was provided a professional business response equivalent to "go F--K yourself. Well, that is not happening. I have been extremely polite and respectful but this company and specifically its' agent do not care about anything other than profits. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!! IF ANYONE DEALS WITH THIS GUY, WATCH YOUR WALLET!! IT IS GOING TO BE EMPTY WHEN HE IS DONE WITH YOU!! read more
