I was injured in an auto. accident about three years ago. I am still. treating As ever person is aware Liberty spends a, fortune on tv advertising may be in the millions I went before an arbitraton board who literally offered me $4,988 dollars. So I couldn't give it no less than one stars I was recently hit by another driver. We both had liberty mutual. He happen to have full coverage, and I happen to have compulsory. He hit me. He took the right away from me on the Main Rd.,. LibertyMutual turned around and said that nobody was at fault pay for his car and I am now driving around with a damaged car, which I cannot get a sticker for and cannot pay for. The sad part is he's the one who gave the statement to the police officer. It states that the driver who hit me was at fault and liberty mutual decided to ignore the rules of Massachusetts and the police. read more

I was a 20+ year customer who paid every month on time, had minimal claims, and over the course my being insured with them, probably paid between $40-$50000 for sevearal different policies with under 5% of that back in claims. A few months back I began to look at my billing for homeowners and (2) six year old cars and saw that I was paying more than I want to...... I called and requested they review my billing to bring down rates, for which they claimed my rates are as low as possible, and there is nothing they could do. I switched to Amica and saved over $200/month! Upon calling LM to cancel, the Manager I was transferred to asked if I would like for them to conduct a rate review for the opportunity to keep my business," and that "one had not been done before." I had this insurance company from 9/27/15 to 9/27/2016 while I had my Altima in July my Engine to my car blew and while I was waiting to look up prices to see if it was worth me fixing I called Liberty Mutual with 2 months left to my policy ( also just got an automatic renewal letter in mail stating at renewal my ins would be going up $30 or so a month for just liability) So I called to ask why they stated typical state rates went up cool, but I had told them I want to cancel my insurance and not renew as I would not be fixing my car, therefor no need for car insurance with no car. They told me I just had to pay the last month and then it would automatic cancel instead of renew. WELL THREE (3 WHOLE YEARS )later I get a letter from collections stating I owe that month so I called today and the first Rep Stony had said right out to me when I explained what happend oh ok is there anything i can do for you and i asked her did you hear what my issue is she told me yes i heard you but there's nothing i can do about that and i had said first off I didn't ask you what u could do about it yet I asked you whats going on with the bill and what happened to the last months payment 3 years ago so then I ask to speak to a supervisor as she keeps diverting my questions to understand why i'm getting a random bill from COLLECTION at that she then clicks on me. So no frustrated i call again and then get a man named Rudy who i explain everything to and that i wanted to speak with a supervisor to avoid the hanging up and correct info he then states we cant do that trying not to let me talk to a supervisor then tells me if i want to speak with a supervisor i can leave my info and they can call me back with in 24-48 hours fine so i continued to see if he could help me because apparently he couldn't just take my info and pass to supervisor he had to say well i cant take any info if you have no reason for calling in today except to speak to a supervisor. I then told him I have a reason and told him thats not how he should talk to someone so i tell him the issue and he starts to explain that i was taking off auto pay the last month of my premium so i no longer had the discount so for my last month of my policy my bill every month was $160.00 but because someone mysteriously took me off auto pay that last month i called in to cancel auto renewal i ended up owing an extra $166.00 extra that i just got a letter from collections today so I guess when i called in to cancel 3 years ago they took me off auto pay and then charged me a whole month extra . I asked Rudy specific questions on my policy premium to do the math myself see if it added up and he said to me well it doesn't matter you can do all the math you want the numbers are legit so i said to him when a customer calls asking questions its because they want to know and or understand something which is what i'm doing and if you cant help me than transfer me to someone who can and they he also clicked on me.. I was fortunate to get a Nice lady by the name of Linda my 3rd time calling and I told her i wasn't even upset about misinformation, the auto cancel , the extra charges I was more upset that i was taken time out of my lunch break to call on something that i'm for the first time i'm hearing of in 3 year and she forwarded my info to a supervisor and waiting for a call back within 24-48 hours . I was only with them a year and didn't have any claims to know if they were good or not but just dealing with the nasty customer service and the oh well too bad attitude you will never catch me using or referring because now i cant trust them. read more

Try to reach agent Pamela.....impossible. When I went to the office to see her.... sick day. Customer service....they put you in a room and make a call to customer service on their phone. This is not a company/ office you want to deal with. I Will continue to put up with this obnoxious behavior till I can find an agent who will sit down with and walk me through a policy so I know what the hell I'm paying for. I seriously hope you will consider other options to protect yourself from the grief that I am going through with Liberty Mutual. Pass it on....find another insurer, and this particular office in Garden City. read more

absolute WORST company I have ever dealt with . Originally when I got insurance with them it was one price online and then the rep on the phone tried to charge me 3000.00 down..should have know right then! they cancelled my insurance after their cs rep said that I didn't owe anything and when I found out 6 days later and called them they said they can write me a new policy for $15000.00 (yes that is correct) up front! went to 3 competitors' and paid $300.00 down for 2 financed vehicles full coverage. I actually work in the insurance industry and plan on telling EVERYONE I can. $15000.00 and $3000.00 (which was highest quote for the year!) is a huge different, Mind you I paid my bill EVERY month. Asked for a suoervisor or manager and was told sorry we cant give you one they will call or email you in 48-72 hours . nah I'm all set don't bother! read more
