We searched for almost 10 months for a new church. Living on the border of Cumming and Milton our…read morechoices were just limited. After visiting about 12 different churches we finally committed to Revolution. Our main consideration was that the teaching was expository without a surface level insight of the Word of God. Pastor Jason challenges us each week and it has us digging deeper through the week just trying to satisfy our desire to learn more. The entire pastoral staff including Pastor David does such an incredible job with their exegetical method of explaining Gods Word. We also love the worship music music. For me it's just a deal breaker if the worship isn't quality. I was impressed by the talent God has given this worship team. It really does set the pace for the reformed style of preaching that is to follow. Having such great servant in the RevKids ministry was also a top priority for our infant. She is loved and you can tell the team there really does enjoy serving our baby. We are so thankful to this group of people who bless us each Sunday. We decided to make a 20 minute or so drive to church each Sunday just because all things are se well balanced here. For us it's worth the drive time because finding solid and true Bible preaching without being afraid to talk about the hot topics in respectful manners is so refreshing. Also make sure to check out their podcast and YouTube channel called the "Grow People Podcast" for a more candid discussion with Pastor Jason and David. What you will find are people helping people , sermons that teach God's word , music that serves God (yes,it rocks) and a willingness to except people as they are . You will find people clothing others , feeding others , warming others , and teaching others . It's not like other churches , it's real ! I've been to a lot of "suit and tie" churches , where everyone is in expensive clothes and gold watches and think they are the way . God said "you will know them by their fruit" they bare none .

We welcome everyone, just not in positions of authority or participating in marriages that are not between a man and a woman, as the Bible tells us. There are still many gracious and sincere individuals there, and I am appreciative of the relationships I cultivated and the personal growth I experienced during that time. Over time, (particularly after two pastors stepped down within approximately a year) the culture and overall direction of the church shifted noticeably. The sermons became less substantive, and the environment changed in ways that were difficult to navigate. I also observed patterns of communication that were not always constructive, with conversations sometimes turning toward discussing others in ways that felt neither edifying nor appropriate. Certain leadership decisions appeared opaque or insufficiently transparent from my perspective, which made it challenging to feel confident and at peace regarding the church's direction. I share these reflections with respect, acknowledging that no church is without imperfections and that every community experiences seasons of change.
