I recently brought my two children into Dr Liam Collins,it was far from a pleasent experience. My wife had rang in advance for an appointment,on the phone she explained about both our children being sick and he said to come in between 3.30 and 5, we waited in the waiting room from 3.30 until five past five eventually getting to see the doctor, when we brought the children in,he stood up from behind the desk and rudely said why are there two kids,he then came out from behind the desk saying in an ignorant manor "I have an appointment for one child only, I'm not looking at the other one, today is by appointment only" he then walked over to my youngest who was in my wife's arms saying "I'm only looking at him". My wife then began to tell him that she had made an appointment for both children and that she was talking to him on the phone ,again in an argumentative manor he interrupted sayin no you didn't,again she went to explain that she had made appointments for both children and again he barked "no you did not ". I then exited the room with my eldest child in my arms as you can only imagine what would have happened if I'd stayed there while the doctor argued my wife basically calling her a liar and refusing to see my sick toddler. My wife and I have now decided from our experience to change gp ,and would advise that if anyone were to make an appointment in future with this gp that they stress specifically what they are ringing for and repeat it several times so as to get their message across, that's if they allow you to finish your conversation without hanging up the phone mid sentence, another complaint that many people have with this clinic. read more
