Brought my formal dress here to dryclean as it has rhinestones sewn in on the neckline. When asked the owner if he can ensure the gemstones will be preserved wit his dry cleaning process , he gave me an attitude and throw his hands up saying I don't know ! He then proceeds to say I put it through a machine sometimes it will fall out ,sometimes it doesn't and says I don't know again then walks away. Terrible customer service . Terrible way of letting customers know their expensive dress is in good hands. How is this place still in business?? read more

I went in on a Monday for two simple alterations. I was told they would be done on the following Friday. I came in on Friday and was told that the person doing the alterations had had an emergency. Fine. I understand things happen but a phone call would've been nice so I didn't waste my time coming in. They gave me a new pick up of Wednesday. In on Wednesday I go and again, not done and no phone call. I'm a little peeved at this point. At least the older gentleman was apologetic. He promised it would be done Friday by 10am. Friday at 3:30 I go in. The younger gal helping me tries to charge me full price. I said nope I want a discount for my inconvenience (all of which wouldn't exist if they had had the courtesy to call me). She went back and another man came out and asked how he could help. I started to explain and he turned around and walked off. Common sense would say if he was looking for my order he would say something like keep talking. I'm just going to look for your order, but he didn't. He just turned around and walked off. Expecting me to. I don't know what shout after him. After twice of him doing this, finally found my order give me a slight discount no apology and was very rude. I will never be back. If I could put no stars, I would, but I have to put at least one star to post my review. read more

I have just picked up the last garments I will ever bring to Leyla Alteration & Dry Cleaning. I brought in two previously taylored sport shirts, one by Bugatchi and one by Georg Roth - a shirt I paid $140 for a few years ago. These being among my fanciest shirts that I only wear on special occasions, especially the Georg Roth shirt, I wear them so rarely that I had only worn the latter 6 times. The collar of the GR shirt had become yellowed from sweat and sunscreen, so I requested special care and attention, pointing out the issue when dropping it off. I come back on June 21 after the pickup date and checked the shirts, spotting the collar on the GR shirt being worn paper thin and torn in two places, as if shredded. Pointing this out to Mah Vahedi (sic), the owner, she first said I brought it in that way, to which I disputed that I had not and had given special care instructions to Maro, the clerk present when I dropped off. Vahedi then said she would fix the collar, assuring me it would be simple and unnoticeable, and declared there would be no charge. Instead of raising any fuss whatsoever, I was very cool and calm about the whole ordeal and decided to give the benefit of the doubt, accepting that what is done is done and the end result might be as described. More than a month later, I finally have a chance to pick up during their business hours on August 3. Vahedi was present again. The underside of the collar was repaired as reasonably as could be expected but then she went to charge me, contrary to her previous promise. Was she actually telling me before that she was not going to charge me for **fixing the damage** they created? I said that I couldn't believe she is charging me for the order after damaging a very expensive shirt. Her temper flared and she yelled "it's free, just take it". Calmly, I went to remind her of what she said before and then she interrupts me saying "you Americans always want something free", a prejudice to which I refuse to respond, and decided to leave immediately. With my back turned on my way out the door, she began to put a curse on me. I do not expect anything for free but I do expect that on the uncommon occasion I have cleaning work done that my shirts come back in the same quality condition that they were presented, returned clean. I expect anyone to stand by their work, which most "Americans" would do, not charging anything if they caused damage to any items. The only cleaners I have ever seen who do not stand by their work were not born in this country, though it would be an awful characterization to claim they "all" are, which is not true. I would be stooping to HER level of bigotry to say that. I used to take all my business to Sun Country across the way before they were bought out and was amazed how they ALWAYS delivered perfectly, not even breaking or losing a button, ever. But then they got bought out by a greedy company that tripled their rates, driving me to look elsewhere. Folks, Leyla is NOT an alternative. To Mah Vahedi: For you to understand the level of your insult, first you would need to know the person you prejudged. I am a Desert Storm veteran and not only did I fight for the country where you now reside, so did many of my ancestors. My native ancestors paid the price of "freedom" in even more horrific ways. This country did NOT come free, though YOU have benefited greatly, offering nothing in return. I happen to know that YOU received government programs to help you start your business that are UNAVAILABLE to American citizens. I've had to work my ass off to start MY business. Who wants something for free? YOU. PLUS, when I was discharged from the military, I went into high tech working for 9 Fortune-list companies including Microsoft AND Apple - I might be very good at what I do. However, I am living in Florida as a financial refugee in MY OWN LAND because tech wages have been driven DOWN EVERY YEAR since the "dot bomb", and especially since 2008 due to OFFSHORING AND ONSHORING people from where you come from, who have driven down the wages of hard-working Americans with rare skill-sets such as mine. I practically work for FREE today, and working all my waking hours is ALL I DO, which is WHY just to travel 1 mile to pick up my cleaning is difficult. But did I prejudge you considering the source of my hardship, which your presence symbolizes to me? NO. I brought YOU my business anyway, even if I recognize that YOU displaced and undercut a hard-working American here and PLUS opportunistically benefiting from our tax dollars giving YOU a business and business LOANS off limits to citizens of this country. And you tell ME that I "always want something free"? If you can find better in your land of origin, If we "Americans" bother you, then feel free to return. But we KNOW you won't - you can never make the same demands there as you do here. At "home", YOU would be NOTHING. And as for your curse upon me - I mirrored it back upon you. Terrible place bad customer service and just looking to upcharge! Wouldn't recommend to anyone

I was in a hurry to drop off a jacket. I pulled up to the drive through and jumped out of my car with the engine running. I didn't even close the car door all the way. Somehow, the door locked!! The owner, Mr. Nasab was so patient and kind! He gave me his iPad and phone to look up the info and call Geico. Geico said it would take 40 minutes for Pop A Lock to arrive. I apologized to Mr. Nasab; my running car is blocking his drive through! However, he remained gracious and told me everything was ok. He offered to buy coffee for me from Dunkin Donuts across the parking lot. My purse was in the car! He gave me $5 from his register. When Pop A Lock opened my car, I tried to give his money back, he wouldn't take it. He told me it was ok and wished me a good day. This was certainly not how I hoped to start my day, but Mr. Nasab certainly made it better. Thank you again for your kindness. I will bring my dry cleaning to Leyla from now on, without locking myself out of the car!! read more

Terrible service, nasty attitude from eployees and still havnt got my blouse fixed they said they would fix it and that they knew how to fix it but really didnt. And looked at me to tell them how to do there job. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE . read more
