We had no budget, so several local businesses were kindly discounting or donating their services for the event, in addition to the time donated from about 100 or so student and faculty volunteers. There was no pressure to contribute anything, just an inquiry to see if they'd like to. Instead of a simple "no thank you", I got both yelled at and lectured to regarding the difficulties of running a small balloon business. I had always intended to leave a review. I'm still saddened by the unkindness I was shown on that phone call--- I was just a graduate student trying to run a free event for kids.
