It was so easy to schedule with Amy before our visit to Maui and easy to get in touch during our trip. She chose a location based on our requests and worked well with everyone in the family. She got smiles out of grouchy grandpa and my shy resting baby face toddler. Before our trip to Maui, I posted in a local Facebook group looking for a photographer to capture…read moresome family sunset photos. Nicole was the first to respond, and she immediately began communicating with my wife. She answered all our questions and made the decision to book with her incredibly easy. Once we arrived on the island, Nicole stayed in touch--discussing possible locations, weather concerns, and the vision we had for the shoot. When the scheduled day came, the weather was awful. Nicole called us to reschedule, and we agreed to try again the evening before we flew back home. Unfortunately, that day brought two new challenges: a difficult family situation and even worse weather than before. We were completely deflated--disappointed, sad, frustrated, and unsure if the shoot could or should even happen. Nicole was amazing. She remained understanding, compassionate, patient, and completely willing to adapt to whatever we needed. As we stood in the parking lot of DT Fleming Beach in the middle of a torrential downpour--just an hour before sunset--Nicole encouraged us not to give up. She and I gently persuaded my wife to at least walk down to the beach and see if the storm might pass. We were already there, with nothing to lose. As the rain began to ease and Nicole started guiding us, what followed was nothing short of magical. She captured a once-in-a-lifetime series of photos that we'll cherish forever. Two rainbows appeared, and she photographed us walking toward them, with the vibrant colors illuminating our backdrop. As the sun tried to peek through the clouds, Nicole made the most of every moment--capturing stunning images that perfectly told the story of our family's resilience and love. Even after we returned home, struggling to decide which photos to choose and wanting to purchase more, Nicole's kindness and professionalism never wavered. We're absolutely thrilled with the final results. I can't speak highly enough of the way Nicole managed the entire experience--from before we arrived to after we left. If you're looking for someone to capture your vision and the breathtaking beauty of Maui, give her a chance. You won't regret it!

There were so many options to chose from but we decided on Jenny because we love her light, airy, romantic aesthetic. We went with the Love Collection and it was one of the best investments we've made. This is a honeymoon splurge that I know my husband and I will be able to look back on and cherish for years to come. My only regret is not adding on the 1 Minute Highlight Video Reel as I know that would have been just as beautiful as the pictures! Jenny was a DREAM to work with! I wish I always felt comfortable in front of the camera as I do when Jenny is shooting! She asked us which side we preferred (a big deal to me, I definitely have a side that I like more), she has multiple cameras (so it takes less time from you and you're not having to hold your poses awkwardly as she changes her lenses), and she was very prepared (she brought clear umbrellas for us to use in case it rained during our shoot). Additionally, she helped us prepare for the shoot by letting us know how we should dress, how we should style our hair, etc. Jenny is the utmost professional, responding quickly to emails and she was very timely with the delivery of the photos. I couldn't ask for more! My husband and I are already planning to return to Maui to have a maternity photo session with Jenny when we're expecting as we know those photos will turn out amazing as well!

This was disappointing, as I had booked 4 months in advance and already scheduled a non-refundable make up artist for the photos. Jenny offered another date and the make up artist ended up graciously being able to come then, but it was very stressful to have to hear that we may not be able to have the photoshoot two weeks before our vacation.

We had a trip to Maui coming up and wanted to get family portraits done so we decided to book with Amber as well. I am so glad we did because I think we've found our forever family photographer! We've had photo sessions before that felt stiff and overly posed and the pictures ended up looking like the generic stock image that's included when you buy a picture frame. It's also very hard to get our 4.5 year old son and 13 year old four-legged son to stay engaged for an entire photoshoot. And we also just had a baby to add into the mix! A two-hour photo session could have very well ended up being super stressful with baby, kiddo, and mom & dad crying. Our session with Amber was completely different and so much fun! She captured our family in a way that felt authentic, natural, and genuinely us! She is also like a baby, kiddo, and doggy whisperer and we have some photos of them that are absolute gems! These are more than just photos. We now have something that takes us back to a special moment in time and we will truly treasure forever.
