Honestly the vet was good and communicative but I'm giving a strongly worded negative review…read morebecause they charged us $200 for an EKG- this is an absolutely absurd price to charge. If you google it, an EKG for a dog should be no more than $65, and I have never even seen a cash pay price for a HUMAN EKG as high as $200 (I work in healthcare). I am so upset by how overpriced this is that we are immediately transferring our dog elsewhere - I called and complained to them about the bill and I will tell anyone I know with a dog to not go here, and instead to shop around for a more reasonably priced vet- seriously absurd pricing has lost my trust in them as a business. Will not be using them for any further workup of the dog, however! Just because the vet is nice that's no reason to upcharge by 300% for a fairly basic service. Jeeze! BEWARE.

Maybe they're just to busy with their new business but I was expecting so much more. The staff are…read morewonderful. However, I feel the doctors could have done better. With a very sick dog diagnosed with CHF you would think that they would want to follow up with him and check in to see how he's doing. I would get a phone call the day after we saw him at the vet and then nothing until I ran into an issue. No follow up appointments scheduled, nothing. My other dog who had surgery they apparently did not think was necessary to see him after his surgery even though I called in with concerns of a non-healing wound. I was given an antibiotic without any proof that there was an infection going on. I work in the medical field. I know what infection looks like. Overall, I really just feel that both of my dogs' medical care could have been managed better.

So much so that my husband and I have made the decision to switch to them for established/routine care. Almost a year ago, they helped us with our puppy, Vito. Our regular vet wasn't available, RoseBird got us in and got him fully recovered quickly. Then again more recently, Dr Lewis saw us through a difficult lymphoma diagnosis. He helped us follow through with keeping our boy Chase comfortable with a decent amount of a quality of life before ultimately assisting him to the rainbow bridge. It amazed me that Dr Lewis was able to remember details about Chase after only a couple of visits without referring to a chart in front of us with as many animals that cross that threshold in a day. And as an added bonus the office is easily accessible and close to home!

I am an elderly resident of Clinton county where there's a lot of feral cats. I feed and water…read morethem. I recently traped a feral kitten and received a voucher to cover the cost of shots and spaying with this vet. I called and had to bring her for an exam. I paid for that and her shots. Then took her to be spayed and the vet refused the voucher because I didn't have her in the trap. The was no way possible for me to fit a trap in any vehicle. And I wasn't told she had to be in a trap when the appointment was made. I had to pay for everything. I am on a fixed income and cannot afford the ridiculously high cost of this vet. If they would have told me I never would have taken her there. But they did not. I can't keep her because of my age and failing eyesight. I am extremely upset with how this vet treated this situation. I do not recommend, and yes they still get the money from the voucher but unfortunately they want much more than what the voucher pays. A feral is a feral with or without a trap and it's hard enough getting them down there in the first place. I this voucher helps with the issue of feral cats especially when you cant afford the high cost of shots, spayin and neutering. That's the purpose of the program, not how you are able to get the cat down there. I do not have anything good to say about this vet visit and how the entire situation was handled.
