It is the most toxic environment I have ever witnessed at a school, and without a doubt, the person responsible for the abhorrent culture is the superintendent. He leads by setting the wrong examples for everyone, as he is an apathetic individual that does not seem to comprehend the negative impact he has on the entire community. Or if he does comprehend the consequences, he doesn't care because he only cares about himself. In my opinion, he is a disgrace to his profession, and is completely unfit to be working in education. And even worse, the administration and teachers that he decides to retain in the district, have similar personalities as his cutthroat ways foster getting rid of anybody that opposes his apathetic decisions. The administration is filled with incompetence. The teachers are the leftovers of those who can't get a job elsewhere (to a high degree, not necessarily every single teacher), and the kids learn from the teachers and administrators that they see every day.
