I went in to have the female short haired blond dentist check a crown that has been feeling sensitive when I bite down on it. I was seated in a room quickly but then had to wait forever until she finally came in the room. I told her what I was there for she and said I needed new X-rays, so they did that and I was sitting there waiting again. Finally she came back and just started filing down my crown to adjust it. I literally pushed their hands away because I was in pain and had tears rolling down my face. She then asked if I wanted her to numb it, which I thought would've been obvious from the beginning, I said yes so she gave me that and I had to wait 10 minutes for it to take effect. 10 minutes passed and I had to ask how much longer she would be. I was told she was coming. She didn't come for another 10 minutes. When she finally walked by and heard me asking again when she was coming. She stood at the door and said "what's the problem?" That set me off and I complained about her having me wait so long and just walking back and forth and I asked her why she didn't numb me in the first place knowing my tooth was hurting and she said that it wasn't obvious to her that she would have to. The dental assistant also chimed in to say that she wasn't just walking around. After they finished and I left I made sure to tell the front desk to make a note that I didn't want either one of them working on me again.

In reality, it functioned as a bill -- full payment required before any work began. Four months later, after already paying in full, I was suddenly presented with a second treatment plan demanding substantial additional money. This was never clearly disclosed at the start. There was no transparency about total cost, sequencing, or expectations. At this point, I have paid thousands of dollars and do not have the implant I initially sought. There was no professional, sit-down consultation explaining the process from start to finish, and no financial consultation to walk through costs. Instead, Dr. Ludwig communicates sporadically while you're already in the treatment chair, which is not an appropriate or professional way to explain complex oral surgery or financial obligations. The office seems to expect patients to somehow already have a deep understanding of oral surgery -- yet they are very enthusiastic about taking payment. The entire experience felt shady, disorganized, and misleading. I would strongly urge prospective patients to ask for everything in writing and proceed with caution.

She came into my teeth cleaning and started telling me about needing a root canal. I had just gotten x rays simply to continue getting my teeth cleaned. After doctor yuabov ambushed me to tell me about the root canal my teeth cleaning was not even continued that day. When it came time for the root canal yuabov was profoundly inexperienced and uncomfortable using the machinery and had to turn a 2 visit procedure into a 3 visit procedure because she could not complete the root canal without adult supervision. Now I have an uncomfortable crown on my lower molar and it has damaged my upper molars and knocked out a filling. I just wanted to add some truth to these nonsense reviews about yuabova being the best dentist "hands down." No one would have that opinion. She does not even have a pleasant personality. I had to listen to her humble brag about her boat cruises and vacations to the dental hygienists as she disrupted my teeth cleaning. Also at no point did this dentist ever apologize to me for extending my 2 visit root canal into 3 and causing me to miss work.
