Hey, Mom I can see Mexico from here. No really, I literally can! Advertising itself as a shopping experience on the border, because if you walk a few minutes south of it, you will literally be standing by the river that physically divides the two Laredos to their respective countries. If you've been to one outlet, you've been to most of them. The Outlet Shoppes at Laredo have a nice selection of brands to shop from - pretty much the same stores you find at other outlets. I really enjoyed how colorful the outlet shoppes were! Everything was painted in fun colors, paying homage to the rich influences of the area. The outlets are built upward, with two levels dedicated to shopping. They had plenty of elevators, making them accessible to those who can't quite take the stairs or escalators. The only downer is you have to pay a small fee for parking. Though, if you're smart, you might be able to find nearby free parking depending on the day since the outlet shoppes is also situated in downtown Laredo. Overall, I really enjoyed visiting the Outlet Shoppes and shopping on the border! I'm definitely coming back again, since I'm in the area frequently visiting the in laws. read more

First time back in Laredo in over 15 years. Came for the rodeo but decided to do some shopping first. We found the outlet mall which is located close to the border. It is an outdoor shopping center which was nice because the days weather was good. There were lots of shops and the area was clean. We found a lot of good deals and would definitely come back. read more

Levi’s Outlet Store - Accessories Near Me - LAREDO, Texas

This is the second time I've being at The Outlet Shoppes, and I tried the indoor parking, that was $2 dlls per hour. When I was coming back I saw there was a security car driving around. There is an elevator to access both levels and parking lot, and electric stairs in between first and second level. There is also a place to eat, with a few restaurants, and it is indoors, so don't worry about the weather there. It is all covered as you can see in the photos I posted, but if its starts raining, that won't help completely. The have so many shoes stores, I'm sure you would come out buying shoes lol. The prices are not as low as I thought, probably compared to regular prices they are cheaper, but I found the same Nike shoes on Amazon for the same price. It is like a mall to me, I will continue to explore other stores in the future. read more

Overall the outlet has a lot of shops to visit. You can park across the shopping center for $2.00, or if you shopped and it's less than 2 hours it's free. The parking lot attendant will ask for your receipts when you leave and will validate them for free parking. Restrooms are on opposite sides and they do have a family restroom. There is no security or guide for the outlet your pretty much on your own. The reason for the 3 stars is the following. Needed to change my daughters diaper and the family room was locked. I knocked on the door and could here someone. I tried to bring this to someone's attention but no one cared. Think some form of security or info kiosk would've been nice to solve this. read more

I have gone a few times since the outlets opened. I have noticed the overall experiencing gradually improving with each visit. Parking is free for the first two hours, then it's 2 bucks per hour. There are enough stores to find a deal somewhere with each visit. In order to maximize savings, you must know when stores like Banana Republic, Express, Nike, etc. have sales, usually around holidays. There is a food court with 4-5 different types of food in addition to Johnny Rockets. In summary, definitely enjoy shopping here and have high hopes for its future. read more

Today was my first visit to The Outlet Shoppes at Laredo. I must say that I very much liked the general concept of the building and was generally very pleased that we finally have a different sort of shopping experience besides our mall however there were certain aspects of my experience that I wish would've been different. I used the outside parking which offers free parking for the first 2 hours and I must say that once parked I was somewhat confused to where the entrance to the actual outlets was and relied on the direction of which people were coming from to find my way inside. Once inside the main building was fantastic as well as its stores. The customer service in two of the stores I entered however left much to be desired specifically Uniform Destination and Sunglass Hut. While visiting Uniform Destination the staff member not once offered to assist or asked me what I was looking for even though I went through the entire store looking for uniforms my size. In his defense he did greet me when I first walked into the store. Needless to say I walked out empty handed. My second stop which was at Wilson's Leather was a testament that good customer service or any at all can go a long way as I left the store after purchasing a bag with the assistance of Samantha who was great at convincing me that I "needed" a new bag. My third stop was Sunglass Hut where I did not even get a greeting from any of the two staff who stood behind the counter the entire time I was in the store trying out sunglasses. In retrospect I think that the reason I stayed in that store as long as I did was because their loud conversation about their issues with other co-workers was very enticing. My last stop was H&M where I walked out with an item as well and even though the staff was great the prices didn't seem very much like outlet prices. Overall I enjoyed my experience and would like to see such a concept succeed in our city. Customer Service was a big issue for me in this first visit but I hope to see improvements in my visits to come. read more
