I placed an online order on a Monday evening. Their website was good, and their selection was…read moreadequate. That's one star. My credit card was billed immediately and I received the "order confirmation" email. Tuesday morning I called to ask about other sizes that weren't shown on the website, and they discovered they actually didn't even have the size I originally ordered. Solution: the supplier has one of the other sizes I asked about, so they would get the order underway, and let me know about shipping that day. Later that day, no word from Kelly's. I called, they said sorry, we got the new size from the supplier, it'll be shipped soon. Checked back Wednesday afternoon... the new order will be shipped today. Checked back before end of business hours... the order will be shipped "today," and I would get an email with a tracking number either immediately or Thursday morning. Checked back Thursday afternoon... this item was actually unavailable as well, even after they said it would already be shipped. Asked for money back, was told "yes no problem", and as of the following morning as I write this, I do not see the reversed charge yet, but I can only assume that this is something they will not screw up. After all of this, I got two things from Kelly's: the confirmation email, and that Thursday afternoon phone call, which was only made after I asked in an email for them to call if they were not going to have a tracking number for me. The rest of all of the dialogue and information was prompted by me calling the shop. To be fair, the supplier's problems on that backup order, if that's what was actually happening, were not Kelly's problems, and that would be on the supplier. Also, Kelly's website does say that they may take up to four business days to process an order, which I should have caught. But that is unacceptable if it is the type of place that can and will charge a credit card immediately. Overall, the lack of any more stars is because of terrible communication, and only slightly better customer service.

My brother had given my sister in law some money to look for a pair of boots on Saturday that turned into a horrific experience after visiting several western stores in Laredo. To make matters worse her shopping experience ended terribly. Not only she couldn't find the right pair of boots she ended up settling for an outfit to only find out her card was denied. Turns out there was suspicious activity on her account and the bank seized her account till she was able to clear this issue up(thanx for looking out wells fargo). The sales rep told her they could hold it for her to come back and let anyone know that they were holding an outfit for her.This is were the cool part comes in. It was Tuesday until this mess was cleared up. I show up to pay for the outfit and the staff on duty gave me hassle saying that the longest they hold items was for a day but someone out of no where heard the name and asked me to wait a minute. He comes out from the back with her outfit and the rest of the staff was in shock. They tried to apologize saying they normally don't hold items that long, but by that time I just ignored them and dealt with that employee that understands customer service. Once again I really wished I remembered your name to give you the credit you deserve, but till next time keep offering that excellent service you offered which made us a return customer.

Great place! It was very clean since it has cement all over…read morethe place. It was easy to push the stroller and carry our things around on ti. The parking lot is big enough and it is connected directly to the flea market. They said it looks like the one on San Antonio, maybe because it has places to seat? I haven't being in San Antonio's flea market , but my friend that was with me that day, compare them. A few restaurants, it has bathrooms. Arrangement like if you are walking around self storage place. You can find all the prices, it is good to ask, hopefully they sold something before you got there so they don't feel like taking all the rent out of one client.

Out of all the metal art and pottery stores along San Bernardo (there's a lot!) this one was the…read moresmallest that I went into. It has a patio area, with a few more varied pieces of metal art than the other ones. It seems that who ever is making these guys' stuff is a bit more imaginative than the other artists who supply the other shops along this road. They had a good variety of signs here- stuff to hang up in your man cave or bar that say things like "It's 5 O'Clock somewhere" or "Margaritaville" They had a bunch of Talavera pottery inside, with good prices on things like stretched out cats, or peeing dogs, all made of painted pottery. Everything here was a good price, especially considering the quality of the merchandise. There was ample help around to answer any questions, and they were keen to show off their wares and demonstrate how the artist had put that little extra effort into their wares, versus the competitions'. Parking was easy with a dedicated lot. The inside was air conditioned and felt good in there.

They can stretch the boots if you have big calves like mine. It does take some time for the leather to stretch, so if you are from out of town, give them time to do it.
