One of my colleagues recommended this place to me, and I thought a couple of bottles of locally produced wine would make a good present for my pops so I headed over there. The man who runs the place (I didn't get his name) is incredibly helpful and full of information about the grapes, the fields' history, the best thing to drink the different wines with and also how to stop the labels peeling off!
He recommended the sparkling wine but I'll have to try that another time. There are a few whites on offer, but just one red. It's apprently very good with a fillet steak, but not so much on its own as it's not incredibly 'beefy'. Will report once I've tried it!
Five stars for the whole experience being very pleasant and interesting. read more
