I had my first ever Gizzard Salad, as a starter, which was delicious. That was followed up by Calf Head. It was okay, but it could have been my mental state that hindered the taste. All this was followed by the best Crème Brûlée I've ever eaten. Truly smooth and yet tasty in the crunchy. Out in this short street Le Quai is the upscale restaurant of it's neighbors. Without being pretentious it just attacks the YUPPIES from the area. Lots of locals show up here daily for the awesome food. The menu is perfect... with a little something for everyone. We had fish, salads, fried calamari, pate and great bread. It was all perfect. Do try this restaurant if you have the chance. Service was friendly and attentive.

Sitting on the edge of the River (Somme?) in the centre of Amiens and about 500 yards from the magnificent cathederal the location alone makes it worth visiting. Having said that I would eat here if it had none of those advantages. Not for the veggies but a must for the pork lover. House speciality is spit roasted milk fed pork and it is to die for, there are other things on the menu (salmon duck etc) but it is worth going for the plat de maison great starters and desserts with warm friendly service that is why I have been back several times. Amiens a great city and this restaurant makes it even more worth a visit try it and see for yourself!!!
