My wife is a life-long vegetarian and we're Jewish as well, so we weren't trying to keep kosher, but we also weren't trying to serve live lobster and shrimp. They did not hesitate to work with us, and suggested even better ideas than what we had come up with. My wife spent six months planning our wedding, not sure what her actual 'job' was at the time, but I'm pretty sure that they didn't get the majority of her efforts. She spent a ton of time talking to other caterers, checking prices, etc - Rosa's was the best. I also liked how flexible they were with our choices of venues for the wedding and reception. Seems like every place we were checking out knew of Rosa's or had good things to say about them. A few venues we went to would only let Rosa's cater, as they had had terrible experiences with other places in town. So that was a huge vote of confidence. When it came down to do the wedding, the service was spot-on. They handled setting up the tables and chairs and everything was perfect for our guests. The cake was ah-mazing, despite the fact that I almost stabbed the back of my wife's mouth when we were feeding each other. The catering staff was also kind enough to make sure that we (the couple) both got nice plates of food and had a chance to sit down and eat. The bartenders did a really good job as well. So, if you are looking for professionals who not only work seamlessly with other professionals (event managers, photographers, site managers, etc), provide incredible service, and most importantly, delicious food, look no further than these guys.

We paid for our venders to all jump in line at the Buffett, as the company does not feed venders for free. Unfortunately covid struck a couple of our guests, so the count did go down from 90 to 75, because the guests who got sick did not come. As a compromise, Chef's Catering packed up some food in to-go boxes we provided, so my husband and I were set on meals for two extra days. Between the chicken and beef tips, to the grits and Mac&Cheese, the Waldorf salad and Caesar salad, to the complimentary bread/butter... everything was outstandingly delicious! We did upgrade to paying extra for crystal plating and metal silverware... I highly recommend you do too! We skipped the tasting and found we did not regret it, as the Buffett choices of food we selected were perfection and our guests went back for seconds, and even thirds!!

There is an adorable little patio setup outside the small shop. Inside, there is a descriptive menu, some merch, a cooler holding both orders and ready-made items for spontaneous munchie needs. There is also a large selection of doggie treats. Their website is descriptive, easy to order from, and customer service fabulous if/when you have questions. The calendar is on the web page. But why chase bad BBQ. This wood pellet (Traeger) grill smoked BBQ is dry. The smoke flavor is light to the point of being almost non-existent. The rub is okay, but when a brisket is this dry it's just not worth eating. The other meats are okay. The pork is probably the best thing, and it's just good not great. The ribs were okay too. The sides are about the only reason this has two stars instead of one. The mac and cheese is tasty and well made. The beans are good. Look, I don't write any reviews less than three stars and few less than four stars unless I have visited a place multiple times. Any place can have an off day, and I hate giving lower reviews to small businesses. But this is just NOT good BBQ. And, yes, I know a bit about BBQ, with deep roots in Texas, North Carolina, Georgia, and Italy. I've cooked many briskets. Many. With wood. Cooked many pork butts and ribs. Tons.
