What a fabulous find! This place is a must try. It is connected to a comedy club (Magooby's Joke…read moreHouse). There's plenty of parking. If you park on the upper side there are extremely steep steps. Park on the same side as the post office/entrance to the comedy club and there are no steps. There is an outside seating area as well. The inside has moody vibes and says speakeasy but out in the open. The inside isn't large, but comfortable with seating at the bar and several high tops. There are a gazillion bourbons and they even have flights. There's also a fully stocked bar for any drink you want. They have 2 beers on tap and tons of bottle/can options. However, I strongly encourage you to try the cocktails. These are elevated cocktails in the sense that the combination of liquors and mixers really make great pairings. The side car was great. We also tried the Naughty and Nice (perfect blend of spice and sweet), Port of Manhattan (the addition of the port takes this classic to the next level), and the Corpse Reviver #2 which was our absolute surprisingly favorite. The glass is washed with absinthe (see photo). Not only was it super cool to see, but the after taste after each sip was amazing with this addition to the drink. We are not gin drinkers but this was delicious! Venture off of your normal order and explore these incredible crafty and well thought out cocktails that you will thoroughly enjoy and appreciate for the art that they are. The menu was very good as well. The chorizo queso was delicious and the German Sausage Platter was tasty. The portions were good. People around us ordered burgers that were generously portioned with all the fixings. They have lots of specials like burger of the month, Wednesdays are burger night (half price) and the drinks are so reasonably priced! The service was immediate and constant throughout our entire visit. Very friendly and eager to make your experience enjoyable. Seriously, venture out to this place and have some terrific drinks and food. You will want to tell everyone about it! Such a great vibe and atmosphere, as well as a great value!!

Let's start with the weather, shall we? Baltimore region was expected to get hit with a massive…read morewinter weather event (let's just call it snowstorm) over the weekend so I decided I would hop into Mom's on a Thursday at noon to grab some essentials, such as my favorite Guatemalan coffee and fresh fruit. Wellllll, apparently hundreds of others had the same idea. The store was filled to capacity with shoppers, had no carts or baskets to use and was quickly becoming stressful. I was forced to place my items in my shopping bags I had brought with the expectation of unloading them at checkout then reloading them after purchase. I was making my way around the store when I was told the line to check out actually began at the entrance to the store, the produce department. At first, I cursed, then I joined that line while my shopping partner finished getting what we needed. Fifteen minutes in line I found I had made it to the dairy case along the perimeter. Still in line, shopping bags full and heavy. A manager then appeared to tell everyone their systems were down. WUT? They could only take cash at this point, if you were lucky enough to make it to the check out. Stunned, confused, sadly remembering I have not carried cash since 2019, I had racing thoughts. Should I stay, should I go? I had already invested 20 minutes into this marathon trip. My partner, with clear eyes and a full heart, suggested she drive my car to the nearby bank across York Road to get cash. I would stay in line and await her return, letting others go in front of me until she was back with cash in hand. Some abandoned carts, some parked their baskets by the ice cream case while they ran to the ATM a few stores down. Are you expecting me to say chaos ensued? Mayhem, perhaps? Irritable patrons just trying to get their eggs and milk before a massive snowstorm traps them in their homes for several days? One would expect as much, but I am here to say this was the most chill and positive crowd of people I have encountered in awhile. As we all slowly moved up in the line stretching the entire perimeter of this market, we all smiled and made small talk, moved carts and baskets along for those who had left to get cash. Finally, I was third in line to the checkout when the manager announced, "Systems back up! Systems back up!" There were cheers and high fives. Each line was open with two employees assisting each check out station, the manager was fully engaged, employees were remaining calm and professional. Marty was my cashier. He rocked. Apologized for the inconvenience, all while smiling and remaining poised and calm. As another employee bagged my items, I see my partner returning just in time with cash in hand. Good timing yet not needed now. We laughed. EXCELLENT MANAGEMENT DURING WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN A VERY CHAOTIC MESS.

As always the staff is friendly. Its not a store I will get all my groceries from. But its definitely a great place to be confident when organic foods are your choice. In addition, for those with EV they have 2 chargers.

That is a very nice seating option; however, there was a private event occurring so I couldnt be seated at such. They also have a front patio seating option as well. I opted to be seated at the bar for this visit as well. The bartender was not as pleasant as my entrance experience and previous visit; however he was attentive. We ordered drinks and then proceeded witj our food ordering once we received our drinks. We ordered Expresso Martini and Reposado Old Fashioned. The drinks are amazing and 5*. We ordered our food Oversized burger and Pan Seared scallops over brussel sprouts. Our food came out hot and within reasonable time. The burger is NOT an oversized burger. Regular sized and the descriptive name is deceiving. The burger option was not anything to speak on as it was not to satisfaction but quelled the hunger moment. It was over cooked. The pan seared scallops came out with a strong "fishy" smell. They however were tasty and spicy. This was a small plate as it was only 3 scallops in total. Other then the strong "fishy"smell, they were tasty. We then ordered a limoncello and was of course satisfied as it was another great tasting drink. This establishment does not have a nice and variety food menu but you will never be disappointed with the drinks.

The vibes here are my favorite part because the bar is so lit up and vibrant and they're always playing good throwback music. Lots of hightops to have happy hour or for some small bites. Good for a date. Never had an issue with service here- always fast and always clearing your dishes. The only thing i will say is it is a little pricey. Will keep returning though!
