After our wedding in May 2015, I can wholeheartedly say that I 100% believe this, and I can tell you that you will not regret having Elly Jackson set the mood for your day. We opted for Elly's Full Love Story Wedding. It was so personalized, romantic, and at times funny. Your guests will be laughing and crying throughout. Our story gave the perfect glimpse into our relationship. The guests that weren't as familiar with our story got to learn more about us, and even the guests that were familiar told us afterwards that it was still fun to hear Elly's spin on things. I still cannot believe all the compliments we got on our ceremony. Everyone truly loved it and it really made the rest of our day that much more meaningful for everyone. A true dream come true. We knew that we wanted to hire Elly from our very first meeting. She was so kind and funny. Elly was a pleasure to work with throughout the planning and was willing to personalize our ceremony in any way that we asked. I cannot recommend hiring Elly enough. She truly will make your wedding more heartfelt, fun, and romantic than you can even imagine. Thank you so much Elly for making our day so special!

I found Elly Jackson online when researching area officiants and non denominational ministers. I…read morewas drawn to her because she actually lived in the Boston area and from her website seemed open, loving, and kind-hearted -- exactly what we wanted in a wedding officiant. Since we have no religious ties here in town and Russ is agnostic, we were looking for someone who could appeal to both of our sensibilities. Having been raised Methodist, it was important to me to have someone who would appeal to my family and friends who practice, but wouldn't offend my friends and family who practice other religions. I also liked that Elly performed Gay Marriage ceremonies -- I thought that spoke very highly of her character that she would recognize love in all forms. Russ and I then called Elly and made an appointment with her over the phone. We met in person over at her place and were welcomed so kindly. She sat us down and explained in much-appreciated detail all of our options and how she likes to perform ceremonies. I was very drawn to her because she likes to tell the couple's "Love Story" that all three of us would work on together. We submitted a bunch of answers to questions she asked and she compiled a lovely story about who we were, how we came to love, and included all of our little nuances with grace, compassion and care for who we were as individuals. Her fee for the service was $550 which is standard for wedding officiants :D I liked that she was open to use making small edits after she wrote our love story and didn't make us feel weird or awkward for wanting to make a few changes. She fully understood that this was our special day and did everything in her power to deliver us a beautiful ceremony. I loved that she also had a microphone so that everyone could hear (We had an outdoor wedding). She was very punctual for the Wedding Rehearsal and helpful in trying to work out the kinks on that stressful day. Normally people talk about how much they enjoyed a wedding reception, but with Elly Jackson as our officiant -- people couldn't stop talking about the ceremony itself and how beautiful it was and moving. Elly really brought our Love Story to life and brought all the laughter and love we wanted to the event. She's experienced in a variety of wedding styles and customs and is a great resource for trying to figure out what's right for you as a couple. Russ and I wanted to incorporate a moment of silence for family members who passed away and she did it with grace, elegance and a compassionate heart. We would recommend her to anyone, I'm proud to have had her as an officiant.

Wow-- Victor was amazing…read more My now wife and I hired him to officiate a small wedding we had at a local restaurant. Working with Victor was a delight. He was extremely helpful and responsive through every stage of the process, from planning to the ceremony to follow-up. Day-of, Victor arrived early and set the tone of the whole day with his easy-going, warm, and professional attitude. When the bride was running late, he was very reassuring and comforting. During the ceremony itself, he was fantastically warm--essential as we were both a bit nervous. All in all, I would (and will!) recommend Victor to anyone looking for a Justice of the Peace for their wedding--regardless of size or venue.

I contacted Victor via email and he got back to me within 2 minutes. His communication with me was second to none! Victor was truly amazing and stayed in contact with us throughout the week prior to our arrival. He made us feel as if we were family and made us feel so welcome! If I could give more stars I most certainly would! He went above and beyond for us and made sure all of our needs and wants we're met. He came down during a very busy Red Sox/Yankees series and made sure to get everyone involved in this special moment for us. Whether you're looking for extravagant or something a little more quiet, I can say with all certainty that Victor is the one for you! 1,000,000 stars is what he deserves!

A few months before the wedding, you meet with him and he asks you a few basic questions to make sure your impending marriage is legit, discusses all of the options there are for putting together your ceremony. He doesn't have any opinions regarding formality, just some suggestions based on what you say you want regarding formality, traditions, etc. He'll match his attire to match your ceremony vibe, too. After we booked him, he sent us easily 75 pages of documents spanning from really traditional to really offbeat, and let us piece that together into one cohesive ceremony ourselves, making adjustments where we wanted. He then nicely proofread it for us and gave us some feedback on it so we could improve it. On the wedding day, he arrived in his judge robe with the ceremony discretely in an iPad, and did a wonderful job performing the ceremony. He also gets bonus points for being patient after the ceremony, because the photographer moved my checkbook and we spent easily 10 minutes with 3 people ransacking the hotel room before we found it...and then my pen died while I was writing the check, and all he did was congratulate me on my new marriage.

At the end of the ceremony he gave my new husband a copy of the ceremony because he said that his wife of 23 years claims that on their wedding day he made promises which he doesn't remember making.
