I didn't find out I was cancelled today until I got to the office, filled out all the paperwork and they came out and told me my doctor wasn't there and they would need to reschedule and the first appointment they have is a month from now... WHAT. Completely unacceptable and sadly this isn't the first time. I have had 2 children with this office but it seems like unless you are pregnant they just don't have time for your care anymore. As other reviewers have noted, it is nearly impossible to get anyone in this office on the phone. Virtually every time I called, I had to leave a message because no one answers the phone. During the course of my pregnancy, I left several messages that were never returned. If I was lucky enough to get a callback, it was sometimes days later. The nurses who answer the nurses' line, Jackie and Gail, were two of the rudest healthcare staff I have ever met. As this was my first pregnancy, I had questions about tests and procedures that the dr ordered. Jackie and Gail were annoyed at every question I asked and acted as though I was inconveniencing them by wanting to understand my care. Jackie actually hung up on me at one point on purpose. Most nurses I have seen in my life have been caring and compassionate - Jackie and Gail are the opposite of this. One of the doctors I saw at the practice admitted that there were some "communication issues" with the nurses - apparently everyone there knows how they treat patients, but refuses to deal with the problem. I reached out to the nursing manager, June, at one point to express my concerns and I got similar treatment from her. It seems the issues with their nursing staff start at the top. I saw several doctors over the course of my pregnancy. Most of them were fine, except for Dr. Alice Roberts. I will never go to her again. She was condescending, demeaning, and rushed through our entire appointment. She treated everything I asked as though she could not believe I was asking such a stupid question. I see that other reviewers here and elsewhere have had similar experiences with her. The practice really should take note of this issue. The one bright spot was Dr. Sarah Warsetsky. She was kind, patient, understanding, and took the time to answer my questions. If you have to go to this practice, she is the only doctor I would recommend. Overall, I was extremely disappointed with the care I received here and wish that I had spent more time finding somewhere that would have provided better care and treatment of patients.
