However, the quality of the service was not great. I asked for my hair to just be down and curled. She didn't seem like she really wanted to be there or do my service, because I wasn't met with kindness or general respectful customer service. The stylist was very blunt and, in all honesty, not very nice. She then began curling my hair with a flat iron. I don't remember the name of my stylist but I noticed during my appointment that she was absurdly rough with my hair. I thought maybe it was just a coincidence or she pulled too hard on accident one time. She actually consistently pulled my hair extremely hard as she styled my hair with the flat iron and it was very painful. A couple days later, I noticed the top of my scalp to be tender and discovered some inflammation in my hair follicles. After reading some similar reviews, it seems like I'm not the only one who's had this painful experience & that their hair was also curled with a flat iron when there are curling irons readily available. I wasn't asked if I was okay with that either and neither were the customers in these other reviews. I am pretty disappointed considering the price of the service and the fact that the stylist was tipped accordingly. Will not be returning to this location. I hope management sees these reviews and takes them seriously considering the consistency of such events.

(sometime in early May?). $50 for a cancellation fee and to reschedule a few hours later...... that's fair. $50 for Yvette to remove aka take down the corn rowns w/ sewn tracks in my head.... because it wasn't her work. $200 for Yvette to give me a Partial Weave aka approx. 1 packet of hair, except 1 piece. I ran out of money, so I could only tip her $20 today. I will have to re-pay her asap. She did an excellent job on the extensions.......... : ) The cornrows are very thin and tight, but not hurting. They are placed evenly and across the top/lower half of my head..... I have naturally curly hair and she was confident she could place the highlights to look great with my curls. After the color and cut she dried my hair straight and I told her the color looked good straight, but I would not be able to tell how I liked it until I styled my hair curly. I tipped over 20%, bought the products she suggested and scheduled my next appointment with her before I left that day. After styling my hair curly at home I realized it did not look good curly. The color placement looked like thin pieces of straw in my curls. It was not chunky bayalage highlights I asked for. I went back to see her a few weeks to show her how my hair looked curly so she could fix it at our next appointment. She was extremely rude and told me I disrespected her by coming to her salon to express my dislike for my hair. She then sent me a lengthy text and said I should find another hair stylist.
