So, here is the breakdown of what happened. We live in Toulouse and go there from time to time, considering the cuisine great and the wait time a little long, but okay.
Got there in time, ordered, got our starters with the water and the wine pairing. Waited, waited and waited. I looked at the time and got served 40 minutes after that, which makes our time, I'm assuming, around 1 hour. We didn't get more water, more bread or even attention from the waitress during that time. We were left to fend for ourselves and starve. Cherry on top ? A table got there around when we got our starters, they ordered, got their starter, wine AND their main dishes during our wait time.
When we finally got our dishes, no apologies or even mention of our tedious wait. In fact, she said "I'm coming back for your wine" (we took the wine pairing, which meant we were getting one glass for starter, main dish and dessert) and the waitress then proceeded to serve several tables. Having lost my patience, I stopped her and told her we were paying for a wine pairing. She then left, talked TWICE to the kitchen staff for a while and then brought us our wine.
Lastly, since we got there at 8 pm and it was 9.35 pm when we finished our main dish (which we devoured because we were hungry), we decided that if the dessert was going to get there as fast, we would have to spend the night here. We went to pay for the check where the waitress charged us the entire wine pairing when we only had two cups of wine.
TLDR : Wait time is excrutiating long. You will die of impatience, hunger or thirst. The cuisine is good, but you have to be able to stay alive to taste it. read more
