Laid back atmosphere, from the seating to the lighting to the clientelle, it's always quite full, but still chilled. It's table service, of course, and can sometimes be a little bit difficult to get served if you're English and want more than 1 drink every 2 hours. Or you can get into the French way of thinking...! To be fair, I haven't eaten at any other tapas bars in Toulouse other…read morethan this one -- but I've eaten at a lot of other places in the city, and I've eaten at a lot of other tapas bars in the U.S. I wouldn't necessarily call these traditional Spanish tapas - they seem to be a little more like small plates with influences from various cuisines: Asian, French, Italian. The portion sizes are pretty large and my boyfriend and I split 3 tapas and it was enough food. Bruschetta - This was my favorite of the bunch with melted mozzarella and cherry tomatoes. If I came back here again, I'd definitely get this again. Salmon Tartare - This is a huge portion and it was served with chopped nectarine all mixed in together. Slightly sweet and slightly savory, it was a nice twist on a traditional salmon tartare. Served with some focaccia bread. Squid with Tomatoes and Tapenade - The squid was not chewy and it had a good texture. Olives are not necessarily my favorite thing, so this was my least favorite of the 3, but if you like squid and olives, you'll like this one. There is seating inside and outside, and the place wasn't overly loud or crowded when we went on a Saturday night around 10 pm. This place turns into a bar with a DJ later in the night but I've only been for dinner. I would come back here again.
