Lovely little restaurant on a quiet pedestrianised street with outdoor seating. The complimentary duck rillet appetiser was a great start to our lunch, nice and rich it just whetted our appetite for the meal to come. I had the plat du jour, which also came with a dessert so was great value at 16 euros. My red mullet was perfectly cooked - lovely and moist with a crispy skin. My boyfriends beef stroganoff, although still tasty, wasn't quite so good. It had a bit too much paprika in it for our liking.
I then chose the cafe gourmand for my dessert - an espresso with three miniature desserts. Each of them were very enjoyable, but none really stood out.
Overall, I thought Les Papilles was definitely above average and was great value for money. I'd definitely recommend lunch here if you're ever in Antibes! read more
